I Don’t Know How to Deal With Anxiety at Work

Starting your first job can be really stressful, and feeling anxious is completely normal. When I started mine, I overthought everything and worried I wasn’t doing enough. What helped me was breaking tasks into small steps, asking questions when I wasn’t sure, and celebrating small wins.

I also made time to relax after work and reminded myself that learning takes time. Confidence doesn’t come overnight, but with patience and consistent effort, you can grow into your role and feel more secure in your abilities.

Hi, I really need help because I’m feeling overwhelmed. I’m 24 and just started my first office job. I constantly feel anxious, overthink everything I do, and worry that I’m failing. I love the job, but the stress is really affecting me.

I feel trapped between wanting to succeed and feeling like I can’t keep up. I’ve tried deep breathing and planning my tasks, but the anxiety comes back every day. I don’t know if I should talk to someone, push through it, or take a step back.

Can you or your followers give me advice on how to cope and feel confident at work?
