Dadabhai comments that it seems no one wanted Jhanak to give a statement in Rishi’s favor. Indumati agrees and tells Aditi that since Rishi went to Simulboni, the villagers can no longer file kidnapping or murder charges against him. Tanushri advises Aditi not to postpone her marriage, emphasizing that after marriage, no one can come between Rishi and Aditi. Aditi complains that Rishi shouldn’t have gone to Simulboni and expresses frustration, saying she does not love this seemingly weak Rishi and is finding him difficult to understand.

Dadabhai explains that she has only seen Rishi’s tough side so far, and now his soft side is showing. He remarks that even he is seeing this side for the first time and tells Aditi there’s a difference between her old self and new self. Aditi questions him further. Tanushri tells Aditi not to feel bad, noting that Dadabhai is concerned for Jhanak and that their family will never accept her. Aditi wonders why she should suffer and decides to speak to Rishi before making any decisions about marriage.
The next day, Rishi enters Jhanak’s room. Putul inquires about Jhanak’s mother. Jhanak wakes and asks about Nutan. Rishi tells her that Nutan is unwell with a fever. Jhanak insists she will go to Simulboni after discharge, so her mother need not come. Putul advises her to rest and eat properly.
Jhanak says she has no place to stay and plans to manage with Nutan’s food. Rishi insists she will stay in his house, explaining he promised Nutan that he would ensure Jhanak completes her studies. Jhanak refuses, asking why she should stay there. Rishi says his decision is final and warns that he will take her forcefully if needed.
Aniruddh and Aditi arrive. Aditi questions why Rishi is suddenly concerned about Jhanak, accusing him of creating more problems. Rishi explains that he caused Jhanak’s accident and it was his responsibility to take care of her and inform her family. Aditi says she doesn’t understand his actions. Rishi insists he knows what he is doing and appeals to Aniruddh to understand him, leaving Aniruddh confused.
Aditi instructs Jhanak to go to Simulboni after discharge to avoid further drama. Jhanak agrees, saying Rishi belongs to Aditi, so she will go. Rishi insists that Jhanak stay in his house to continue her studies. Aniruddh remarks that Rishi cannot take such a major decision alone, but Rishi responds that Aniruddh would have done the same in the past.
Aditi accuses Rishi of playing with her feelings. Rishi admits he wronged Jhanak, but explains that Jhanak’s actions saved him in Simulboni, allowed him to return to his job with respect, and even saved Dadabhai’s life. Jhanak is surprised hearing this. Aditi tells Rishi she cannot marry him if he continues to act this way.
Precap: Aniruddh reads Nutan’s letter and discovers that Jhanak is his daughter. He asks Rishi to keep this a secret.
Rishi gives Aniruddh water and asks if he still thinks sending Jhanak to Simulboni is right. Aniruddh asks whether Rishi discussed this with Aditi; Rishi replies that no one knows. Aniruddh warns Rishi not to reveal anything, fearing that revealing Jhanak’s identity would destroy his family. He supports Jhanak financially but hesitates to accept her publicly.
Rishi challenges Aniruddh, saying he is focusing on money instead of accepting Jhanak in society. Aniruddh insists he has no choice. Rishi reminds him that this was Nutan’s last wish and that he cannot send Jhanak to Simulboni alone. Aniruddh asks why Rishi is taking this responsibility; Rishi replies that Aniruddh is avoiding his duty.
Precap: Aniruddh instructs Rishi not to tell Jhanak the truth, refusing to accept it publicly. Meanwhile, Nutan struggles to breathe and faints, shocking Parashar.
