Yuvan is seen playing the violin in the rain, completely lost in the music. The servants request him to have food, as he hasn’t eaten anything since morning. In anger, Yuvan throws the food at them, saying he doesn’t want to eat such food. The servants, frustrated, push him back into his room and say angrily that if he doesn’t want to eat, let him die.
Meanwhile, his Dadaji, worried for Yuvan, rushes home. When he arrives, he’s shocked to see a party going on. Kalpana and her sister are telling the Panditji that the pooja is cancelled. They call Dadaji “Mamoosa.” Dadaji reprimands them for speaking disrespectfully to the Panditji. They reply that they had to cancel the pooja because Malini received the “Best Woman Entrepreneur of the Year” award and has organized a party. Dadaji reminds them that today is Mahashivaratri Pooja. They argue that both the pooja and party can’t happen together, so they chose the party. Dadaji insists the pooja must take place at home.
Elsewhere, Banni Chow makes a grand entry. She throws tomatoes at a shopkeeper and confronts him for selling adulterated rice and dal. She publicly exposes him until he promises never to repeat it. Banni then leaves on her scooter.
On the other side, Brinda and Veer discuss Malini. While Veer praises Malini, Brinda criticizes her, calling Veer and Viraj Malini’s blind devotees (andh bhakts) and even calls Veer a loser. Veer replies that she’s just jealous of Malini.
Malini walks down the stairs to a round of applause from guests. Viraj compliments her beauty, but Malini jokes that she wishes she could compliment him too—she dislikes the shade of blue he’s wearing. She then asks about Yuvan. Viraj says Yuvan is in his room concentrating on his music.
Yuvan listens to a conch shell and says his mother once told him there is music in everything in the world. Malini tells Viraj to make sure Yuvan doesn’t come in front of the guests.
A servant offers Yuvan rose milk, but Yuvan throws it on him. Another servant remarks that the new servant doesn’t know Yuvan’s tantrums. Suddenly, Yuvan drops his badge, panics, and starts calling for Chanda Mama, begging not to be left alone again. He remembers his mother sewing a moon patch on his T-shirt, telling him Chanda Mama will always stay with him. When he can’t find the badge, he panics, removes his T-shirt, and refuses to wear it.
Dadaji approaches Malini and says no one should forget their roots. He asks if she can delay the party for just a day. Malini refuses, saying she has French guests who have an early flight, and while the pooja can happen anytime, her party can’t be postponed. She mocks him, saying his old traditions are useless.
Veer asks if Dadaji congratulated Malini for taking their business to new heights. Dadaji says the world knows Malini, but her own family doesn’t truly know her. Veer criticizes Dadaji, but Malini stops him, warning him to behave.
Yuvan walks downstairs, panicking, as servants try to stop him. Malini proudly introduces her daughters, Palak and Myra, saying they look beautiful. Palak returns the compliment. Malini tells them that just as guests respect and fear her, they too must earn that respect.
Suddenly, Yuvan walks into the party half-naked, demanding his Chanda Mama dress. Reporters take photos while the family hides their faces in embarrassment. Seeing Malini, Yuvan becomes frightened and tries to cover himself. A servant wraps a towel around him. He runs and hugs Dadaji emotionally. Viraj fumes, thinking that while he stepped away to change, Yuvan created a huge scene.
The next morning, Myra and Palak tell Dadaji that Yuvan hasn’t eaten anything for two days. Dadaji laments that everyone in the house has become like Malini. Brinda says she ordered dal-chawal online for Yuvan, but Dadaji scolds her, saying he brought a wife for his son but couldn’t bring a mother for Yuvan. Palak offers Dadaji food from her friend’s place. When he tastes it and praises it, she says her friend ordered it from Banni Chow Home Delivery. Dadaji says what Yuvan needs most is a mother’s love.
Malini angrily tells Viraj that instead of her name appearing in newspapers for winning the award, tomorrow’s headlines will focus on Yuvan’s drama. Viraj suggests sending Yuvan to a mental asylum. Malini replies that once her wish is fulfilled, she will personally send Yuvan there—but warns Viraj not to repeat his mistake again. She sends him to Yuvan’s room and locks the door from outside. Viraj then brutally beats Yuvan.
Meanwhile, Banni is seen grinding flour manually. Her brother Vishnu suggests she buy a new mixer or get flour from the shop. Banni says readymade flour is 20–25 rupees costlier and they can’t afford it. Her aunt returns, short of breath, and scolds Banni for fighting with the shopkeeper. She warns her not to ruin her reputation like her mother. Banni retorts that she won’t stay silent like her mother and will always stand up for what’s right. She adds that if her mother hadn’t stayed quiet, she would still be alive.
Banni continues delivering home-cooked meals to customers, earning their praise. Later, she visits a temple and prays to God to send her 150th customer soon.
At the same temple, Yuvan arrives with Dadaji. Some of Banni’s pamphlets fly and land in front of him. Yuvan picks them up and returns them to her. Dadaji reads the pamphlet and recalls Palak mentioning Banni Chow Home Delivery the previous day. He decides to try Banni’s food for Yuvan.
He praises her cooking and asks her to deliver food for his grandson, saying he wants him to experience real food. Banni thanks Lord Shiva for sending her 150th customer so quickly and gives Dadaji her menu with prices. Dadaji says she can serve whatever she likes, as long as it’s made with love. She says she puts love into every dish and offers Yuvan a rasgulla. Yuvan throws it away, saying he doesn’t want to eat.
Banni gets angry, but Dadaji stops her, explaining that Yuvan is mentally unstable and hasn’t eaten in three days. Banni takes it as a challenge and insists on feeding him kheer. Yuvan runs away, and Banni chases him. He recalls his mother asking him not to make her run. The chase continues until Banni pins him down and feeds him kheer through a funnel. Dadaji watches emotionally, while the Panditji comments that only a mother, a wife, or someone like Banni can feed someone with such love.
Precap:
Dadaji asks Banni to deliver food to Yuvan daily from now on. Viraj rams his car into Banni’s scooter and arrogantly offers her money for the damage. She slaps him. Later, Banni feeds Yuvan again. Malini warns the family not to let Yuvan attend the pooja, but Banni brings him anyway. Malini insults her and yells at her to leave.
