Rahi faces Anupama with tears streaming down her cheeks and asks, “If a mother and daughter fight, does the mother simply leave her child?” The question shakes Anupama, who pulls Rahi into an emotional embrace, believing that the birthday reunion she had hoped for is finally happening. Her happiness, however, breaks within moments when Rahi abruptly pushes her away and says coldly, “Stop dreaming. Meeting you hasn’t made me happy.”

Anupama is left shattered as Rahi accuses her of destroying her life and insists she should never return to Ahmedabad. “Both families are happier without you,” Rahi declares, making it clear that she has no intention of forgiving anything from the past. Crushed, Anupama promises to stay away. Even so, she watches Prem from a distance and sends flowers, only for Rahi to toss them aside without a second thought.
