Banni takes care of Yuvan, who is unwell with high fever. Manini panics when she learns that Banni has called a doctor to check Yuvan. She orders Myra to bring Yuvan home immediately, fearing that Banni’s doctor may not treat Yuvan properly. Banni insists that Yuvan needs immediate medical attention.
Manini worries that the truth about the medicine she gave Yuvan will be exposed if the doctor examines him. She tells Hemant that Yuvan went to Banni’s house and fell, and that Banni called a cheap roadside doctor. Hemant insists on accompanying Manini and orders the driver to get the car ready. Manini instructs Niyati to inform Viraj to come along, saying only he can manage Yuvan.
At Banni’s house, Banni checks Yuvan’s fever and applies a cold cloth on his forehead. Mamisa’s sindhoor box falls, and Banni explains to Yuvan the significance of sindhoor, describing it as a symbol of marriage. Yuvan asks why Banni doesn’t wear it, and she explains that after marrying Niyati in two days, he will apply sindhoor in Niyati’s hairline.
Yuvan asks Banni to pose her hand like a lotus, saying it reminds him of a flower. Banni scolds him when he requests a kulfi in return.
The doctor arrives—Dr. Anubhav Desai—and checks Yuvan, suspecting he either took wrong medicine or food. Manini tries to humiliate the doctor, but Hemant clarifies that he is the famous Dr. Anubhav Desai, known worldwide for stem cell research. The doctor explains he came at Banni’s request, as she had served his ailing father before and he trusted her. He reviews Yuvan’s prescriptions and recommends keeping Yuvan at Banni’s house to rest overnight, as stress could worsen his condition.
Manini panics at the thought of her truth being revealed but agrees to Hemant’s decision. She scolds Myra for bringing Yuvan there, but Myra reminds her that Yuvan saved Banni’s life like a true hero.
