Savi tries to clarify that Neil had only applied sindoor to help her keep the children and that he actually loves Teju. However, Surva reveals that Neil no longer remembers Teju at all—only Savi.
He urges Savi to play the role of Neil’s wife, reminding her that they are legally married. Though Savi resists, insisting their marriage was circumstantial and they were never even friends, Surva pleads with her to help Neil recover.
