Rishi advised Jhanak to study hard for college and offered his Kolkata address for support. Jhanak learns he is unmarried and jokes about attending his wedding. Rishi shares that his wedding is in three weeks, and she playfully teases him about fate possibly sending her to his house. He mentions his fiancée, Aditi, a kind college professor who could help Jhanak with her studies. Later, Jhanak helps Rishi walk and plays with goats while he takes her photos.
At home, Rani invites Jhanak to the river, but Bua disapproves. Meanwhile, Sakhi convinces Nutan to attend Mangal and Pool’s marriage announcement, reminding her of her past with Anirudh. Jhanak teases the couple, and Nutan invites Rishi for lunch, much to Bua’s annoyance.
As garlands are exchanged, Jhanak remarks that objections should be raised today or never. Rishi asks what happens if families reject penalties, and Nutan replies that the marriage proceeds regardless.
Elsewhere, Putul’s father refuses to invite Nilanchan, despite his connection to Rishi. At Jeet’s house, Ishani panics when Jeet recalls seeing her at a village fair. She denies it, but he insists he recognizes her. Pihu comments that a girl hiding her past might be thrown out by her husband. Distressed, Ishani accidentally drops food and is scolded.
Rishi compliments Nutan’s food, and Jhanak is asked to escort him to the lodge. She invites him to visit again with his wife. Nutan mentions Bhavanipur, surprising both Rishi and Jhanak.
Precap: Rishi tells Jhanak to stay at the lodge due to the rain. She cries, fearing the consequences of staying alone with a stranger.
