The episode begins with Jhanak telling Rishi that she doesn’t want to marry him either. She urges him to agree for now so they can escape later. She questions the villagers, asking how she will continue her studies if she is forced into marriage. A villager tells her she can study after marriage and asks why she is defending Rishi. Jhanak replies that humanity still exists. Nutan asks Rishi to speak up.
Rishi calls the villagers mad. Kanka reminds him he cannot break the village rules and questions how he can deny anything happened after spending the night with Jhanak. Rishi says he would rather die than marry under pressure. Dhamu tries to attack him, but Jhanak stops him, reminding everyone that Rishi saved Parashar. Still, the villagers insist that the marriage must happen.
Jhanak whispers to Rishi to agree. He initially refuses, saying he isn’t scared. The villagers threaten to kill them if they don’t comply. Jhanak pleads with Rishi to think of Aditi and his family, urging him to trust her. He finally agrees. Dhamu announces that their wedding will take place the next day.
Meanwhile, Rishi’s family worries about him not answering calls. Shurjeet guesses that he stayed back in the village. Tanushree cries, and Indumati consoles her.
Elsewhere, Ishani prepares breakfast. Pralay answers a call from Jeet, who asks about everyone and mentions that he will visit to meet Pihu and discuss business. Pihu talks to Jeet briefly, then scolds Pralay for bringing Ishani into the house. Pralay defends Ishani, saying she is trying her best despite their complicated marriage.
Ishani serves everyone and offers to help Pihu downstairs. Pihu warns her to stay within limits. Later, Pihu compliments the food, asking where Ishani learned to cook. Ishani replies, “Life taught me.” Pihu questions why her favorite dish wasn’t made, and Ishani responds that no one asked.
Jeet arrives, greets everyone, gives sweets and flowers to Pihu, and gifts Ishani a photo frame. Ishani realizes the photo is from her time in Jeet’s village. Pralay asks how he obtained it. Jeet explains that Ishani is from his village, and a friend gave him the photo.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh tells Aditi not to worry, suggesting that Rishi’s phone might be on silent. Arshi questions Rishi’s seriousness and calls him irresponsible. Aditi defends him and says she will marry only Rishi. Arshi tells her to let his family handle it. Aniruddh reassures Aditi that he will manage.
Alone, Rishi calls everyone mad and thinks about reaching Aditi. He remembers Jhanak’s promise and decides that he will marry if forced, but it won’t matter to him.
Jhanak tells Nutan she wants to help Rishi escape and doesn’t want the marriage. Nutan sympathizes, recalling her own forced marriage to Aniruddh. Jhanak asks her to get the villagers away.
