Jhanak scolds Rishi after their accidental collision. Krishnandu apologizes, explaining that they are from a nearby village. Villagers gather, and Jhanak recounts the incident. One villager tells Rishi to compensate her for the ruined food. Rishi offers money, but Jhanak snaps, asking if money can fix everything. She calls him a fool and ugly, making the villagers laugh. Krishnandu insists it was an accident and promises it won’t happen again.
When asked where they’re headed, Rishi says they are going to the mela. The villagers notice his camera and request pictures. Rishi urges Jhanak to pose, but she declines, saying she needs to cook for the chief. Undeterred, he clicks her picture as she walks off.
Elsewhere, Pralay calls Ishani for Pihu. Ishani goes to Pihu’s room but is yelled at and pushed, hitting her head. Pihu takes the call while Bua notices Ishani’s injury. Pihu mocks her again.
Ishani’s husband arrives, and she expresses that she is not trying to replace Pihu’s mother. She wonders why the kids dislike her. He assures her no one hates her. Pihu walks away, and Bua comments that the children dislike Ishani because she never tried to bond with them. Ishani reminds her how poorly the kids treat her. Her husband suggests applying ointment, but Ishani brushes it off and leaves.
Rani informs Nutan that Parashar has returned to celebrate the festival and invites her to bathe in the river. Nutan declines, preferring to stay with Jhanak. Rani urges her to move on, saying Jhanak won’t like seeing her sad. She asks if Nutan will attend the mela; Nutan nods. Rani reminds her that Parashar loves her, but Nutan says she loved Anirudh. Rani adds that city folks rarely return. Jhanak arrives, mentioning that the food got ruined.
Meanwhile, Tanushree informs Kaju and Padam that Rishi is getting married and that his future in-laws are coming today. She warns them to behave. Kaju reassures her they know he’s marrying Aditi. Putul rushes in, alerting everyone that something is burning. Tanushree runs to the kitchen. Putul teases Payal for doing all the chores, blaming her mother Manju’s absence. Her mother scolds her for being dramatic.
Jhanak joins the village ladies at the river. Rani narrates Sakhi and Bhuvan’s love story, making Sakhi blush. Nutan recalls her memories with Anirudh. Kishanand tells Rishi that the villagers seem cheerful.
Payal cries in her room. Her husband asks her not to overreact and encourages her to get ready for the guests. She refuses, claiming she’s not in the mood. He defends Putul, saying she is immature. Payal disagrees but eventually agrees to get ready after her mother-in-law apologizes on Putul’s behalf.
Kishanand chats with the village ladies while Sakhi asks them to record their dance. Rishi captures the performance on camera. Spotting him, Jhanak plots revenge and punctures his bike.
Precap: Rishi clicks more pictures of Jhanak. Aditi tries calling him, but the call fails. Arshi comments that Aditi won’t adjust well after marriage. Later, Rishi meets Parashar and introduces himself.
