The Episode begins with Parashar asking Jhanak if she is studying well. She proudly announces that she topped her class and pleads with him to stay longer. Parashar replies that he has work to finish, which keeps him away from the village. He buys her some jalebis as a treat.
Meanwhile, Bua snatches the money Nutan earned by selling baskets and lashes out at her, calling her lazy and “characterless.” Nutan, fed up, says she is tired of hearing the same insults. Parashar steps in and taunts Bua. She fires back, claiming he always gets angry when someone criticizes Nutan. Parashar tells her that Bua never understood how important Nutan is to him.
Bua insists she runs the household while Nutan does nothing and mocks Jhanak’s constant studying. Jhanak quietly walks away. Nutan asks Parashar to settle permanently in the village. He jokes, asking who would marry him now, and says he only wants her. Nutan shares that she always prays for his safety. Parashar expresses his belief that Anirudh is the right match for Jhanak and asks for more food. Nutan nods and leaves.
Elsewhere, Rishi worries that Aditi must be upset and wonders if he will see her again. Parashar walks in and asks if he’s comfortable. Rishi says he had no choice. Parashar accuses him of spying and says city folks only exploit villagers. Rishi denies this. Parashar sarcastically asks if he came to support him. Rishi admits he can’t because he hasn’t suffered like Parashar, and then reveals he is a police officer, showing his ID. Parashar pulls out a gun, but Rishi warns that violence won’t help him win.
At the same time, DG Ghosh calls Inspector Roy and reveals Parashar’s location. Roy heads to Simulbuni with his team.
In the city, Arshi asks Aditi why she’s not eating. Aditi says she’s not hungry and asks if Arshi spoke to Rishi. Anjana teases that Aditi is missing him. Arshi grows upset at her behavior. Anirudh reminds Aditi about what she told Rishi’s family. Aditi questions why Arshi did that. Anirudh says Arshi won’t understand the beauty of a joint family. Arshi admits she doesn’t like the alliance but accepted it for Rishi’s sake. She shares that she left her career for Aditi and the home, wanting only her daughter’s happiness, and urges Aditi to make her own decisions. Aditi asks her to calm down, but Arshi says she is hurt, not angry, and walks away.
Elsewhere, Ishani’s husband tells her not to take Pihu’s harsh words to heart, explaining she is still grieving her mother’s loss. Ishani questions why he remarried without asking the kids. He encourages her to win their hearts and expresses faith in her. She says she’s sleepy. He mentions reading her diary, saying it doesn’t reflect reality. Ishani observes that Pihu’s behavior is becoming strange. He reassures her it’s just partying and advises her to be a friend, not a mother. Suddenly, they receive a call—the police inform them that Pihu was caught causing a scene while intoxicated.
Back in the village, Jhanak knocks on the door. Parashar hides his gun and opens it. She brings food, but Rishi refuses to eat. Parashar scolds him for wasting food and questions why he should trust a cop. Jhanak realizes that Rishi is a police officer.
Precap: Jhanak urges Parashar to run as the police have arrived. She warns Rishi, and Rishi also tells Parashar to escape.
