Eshwar assigns Katha a firm responsibility, to ensure UV does not leave until all post-wedding rituals are completed. Katha agrees without hesitation and also resolves to honour her duties as a wife. UV, however, reacts angrily, while his cousins openly criticise Katha.
As Eshwar prepares to leave, Harshvardan reminds him that the presence of elders is essential to control UV and his cousins in case they create trouble. Taking his advice seriously, Eshwar asks Shlok and Charu to stay back with the newlyweds. Both agree. Once the Jindal family departs, Ambika secretly plots to push Katha out of UV’s life by using Tammy, believing this will secure the family property for her children.
After the elders leave, Shlok starts teasing UV and suggests that he remain at the venue until the vidaai ceremony. Katha confronts UV, accusing him of disregarding his family’s reputation. An argument follows, and an enraged UV throws away the gathbandhan. Katha quickly catches it. Remembering Eshwar and Chandrika’s words, she silently vows not to let UV leave before the vidaai. Her gaze shifts to UV’s cousins, and an idea strikes her.
Katha approaches the cousins and urges Pratty to stop UV from leaving, reminding him that he is a police officer. The cousins are stunned. They refuse, claiming UV will never listen to them. Pratty bluntly says that since UV was forced into this marriage, he will never accept Katha as his wife. Katha responds calmly, clarifying that she only wants UV to respect the elders’ decision, not accept the marriage emotionally. She also questions Pratty’s integrity for refusing to help despite being an officer. Her words leave an impact.
Although Pratty and Omi initially argue that supporting Katha would make UV feel betrayed, Katha shares a clever plan to prevent UV from leaving before the vidaai. Naina and Prerna watch anxiously, disturbed by UV’s behaviour. Prerna sadly remarks that the celebrations are being ruined. Eventually, Pratty agrees to help Katha, shocking Omi and the others. Pratty signals Prerna before walking away.
Meanwhile, Tammy, furious over Katha and UV’s marriage, throws things around and declares she will never accept this union. Ambika arrives and subtly manipulates Tammy, pushing her to take action to separate the couple. When Tammy hesitates, saying Eshwar will never allow it, Ambika insists she find a way. Fueled by anger, Tammy agrees to ruin the ceremony, leaving Ambika secretly pleased.
Back at the venue, Shlok once again requests UV to wait until the vidaai. UV refuses outright, claiming his café matters more than anything else. Suddenly, a few police officers arrive, shocking UV. He turns to Pratty, asking him to intervene. To UV’s disbelief, Pratty instructs the officers not to allow anyone to leave until the vidaai is completed. An enraged UV confronts him, but Pratty stands his ground.
Shlok, Charu, Naina, and Prerna praise Katha for achieving the impossible. Forced to sit beside her, UV vents his frustration. Katha, composed yet firm, tells him that while she understands his anger, she cannot abandon her responsibilities.
Precap: Katha and UV arrive at the Jindal house. Following Chandrika’s instructions, Katha performs the grihapravesh ritual and gets injured. UV stops her from falling but taunts her afterward. Chandrika harshly orders Katha around, leaving her deeply upset.
