Nutan tells Jhanak that Rishi did not come to see her. Jhanak replies that she already said Rishi must be busy. Nutan points out that Rishi did not come to support his wife during such difficult times.
Meanwhile, Parashar asks Dadabhai whether he faced any difficulty at the hotel. Dadabhai replies that everything is fine. He says he spoke to the doctor and that Jhanak will recover soon. Parashar asks when Rishi will come. Putul lies and says Rishi got an important assignment and cannot come. Parashar remarks that Jhanak is in critical condition, yet Rishi is only concerned about his job. He adds that Rishi is not even answering calls. He clarifies that he has no complaints against them and leaves, saying he has some work to attend to.

Jhanak tells Nutan that Rishi sent his family, which makes her happy. Dadabhai and Putul enter the room, and Jhanak smiles on seeing them. Nutan and Putul step outside so Jhanak can talk privately with Dadabhai. Jhanak assures Dadabhai that she will be fine soon. Dadabhai gently asks why she became careless and did not take proper care of her health.
Jhanak breaks down and says she missed Dadabhai a lot. Dadabhai tells her that he will take her to Kolkata. Jhanak says that cannot happen and asks what right she has to stay in his house. Dadabhai tells her that she is very important to him, and he realized this only after she left the house. Jhanak asks him not to worry about her and to return home with Putul. Dadabhai firmly says that he will take her with him no matter what.
Outside, Nutan asks Putul whether Rishi has accepted Jhanak. Putul questions why Nutan doubts this. Nutan explains that Jhanak has not said anything, but she senses something is wrong. Putul reveals that Rishi was engaged to someone else and was forced to marry Jhanak, so it will take time for him to accept her wholeheartedly. Nutan says Jhanak never received fatherly love and wonders how she would feel if she also does not receive her husband’s love. Putul reassures her that everything will improve with time.
On the other side, Abhimanyu tells Indumati that Dadabhai should not have done this. Tanushri says their relationship with Aditi’s family might be permanently damaged because of this and adds that Rishi is extremely upset. Payal asks Indumati to call Dadabhai and ask when he will return. Indumati refuses, saying Dadabhai went against the family. Neelu comments that Putul failed in her own relationship, which is why she cannot see any couple happy. Indumati scolds Neelu and tells her to stop. Neelu informs them that Rishi has not come out of his room.
Later, Jhanak asks Dadabhai whether Rishi married Aditi. Dadabhai avoids the topic and refuses to discuss it. Jhanak confesses that she never told the truth to her family or the villagers and asks him not to reveal anything to anyone. Dadabhai agrees.
Tanushri suggests that they should visit Aditi’s house the next day. At that moment, Rishi arrives and shocks everyone by revealing that Aditi has refused to marry him.
