Dadabhai says he wants Jhanak to achieve her dreams. Jhanak replies that she wants to study well and find her father. She says she wants to ask her father why he left Nutan and why he never accepted her. Dadabhai asks whether Jhanak wants anything else. Jhanak replies that she wants Rishi and Aditi to get married and stay happy. Dadabhai blesses her and asks her to recover soon. He says he cannot see her in such a condition.

On the other side, Rishi tells his family that Aditi does not want to marry him and has ended their relationship. He questions why they did not stop Dadabhai. He says it is not that he wanted Jhanak to die, and he was ready to pay for her treatment, but Dadabhai did not listen to him. Tanushri says Rishi should have told them the truth earlier. Surjeet suggests calling Dadabhai. Payal calls Dadabhai and puts the phone on speaker, asking when he will return.
Dadabhai tells Payal that Jhanak is better now because they shifted her to another hospital for better treatment. He says he cannot run away from his responsibility like others. Surjeet asks Dadabhai to return soon because Aditi is mentally disturbed. Dadabhai replies that Aditi has her family with her. Rishi tells Dadabhai that he ruined his life. He says he needed Dadabhai, but he chose Jhanak instead. He adds that he became the villain in Aditi’s life because Dadabhai went to Simulboni.
Dadabhai says he trusted Rishi deeply, but Rishi failed to become a good human being. He tells Rishi that no one can pressure him and that he will do what he believes is right. He says Rishi does not deserve Jhanak and that Jhanak is a far better human being than him. He disconnects the call.
Later, Dadabhai pays Jhanak’s hospital bills. Parashar thanks Dadabhai for helping them. Dadabhai says Jhanak is his daughter too. Nutan says Jhanak received the best treatment because of Dadabhai. Parashar assures him that he will return the money. Sakhi points out that Rishi did not even call to ask about Jhanak’s condition. Jhanak tells Sakhi that she already explained that Rishi is a government officer and is always busy.
Parashar says a wife should be Rishi’s priority. Jhanak replies that national service comes first. She tells Dadabhai that she will show him Simulboni. Putul asks Jhanak to take proper rest. Dadabhai again asks Jhanak to come with him. Jhanak says Dadabhai knows that it is not possible. Parashar asks why she cannot go with Dadabhai. Jhanak explains that she has exams to attend. Sakhi suggests that Jhanak can go to Kolkata after completing her exams. Jhanak says she wants to stay with Nutan. Parashar says Jhanak can study at a college in Kolkata. Dadabhai promises to get her admission into the best college and says he is confident she will perform well. Sakhi praises Jhanak’s in-laws. Jhanak thinks that Rishi’s family is good, but she is not truly a part of it.
Recap: Rishi tells Aditi about Dadabhai’s heart attack. Aditi says she will reach the hospital. Rishi gets shocked on seeing Jhanak in the hospital.
