Surjo orders Noyontara to leave his room. Noyontara instead plays the conch shell. The snake leaves Surjo and moves toward Noyontara. Shaoli believes it is her moment to execute her plan and puts poison inside the snake. She then realizes the snake is already poisonous and wonders about Lata’s actual plan. Surjo gets off the bed and tries to approach Noyontara, but she signals him not to move. The snake circles Noyontara and stares at her face.

Lata realizes the snake is poisonous. She thinks Noyontara cannot die and asks everyone to save her. The snake gently touches Noyontara’s head and then coils around the Shivling. Noyontara chants “Om Namah Shivaya.” Shaoli is shocked and wonders how this is possible. She thinks she cannot lose against Noyontara again. Noyontara walks to the hall. Surjo asks how all this is possible and calls it unbelievable.
The priest tells Mala that he will never come to this house again to perform pooja. Noyontara tells him that the pooja will be completed today. She places the Shivling back in its position. The priest says he has never seen anything like this before. He greets the Shivling and bows before it. Surjo arrives and demands an explanation. Noyontara tells him that snakes are devotees of Bhootnath. She asks Surjo to sit for the pooja to get the answer to his questions. They sit together and continue the ritual.
Meanwhile, Lata wonders how Gurudev could send a poisonous snake. She tries to call him. Shaoli comes there and attacks Lata verbally. She questions how Lata could send a poisonous snake into Surjo’s room. She says Lata’s plans always fail and asks why she should even be alive. Lata asks Shaoli to calm down and apologizes to her. She vows to separate Surjo and Noyontara. She pleads for another chance. Shaoli leaves.
Lata questions why her plans never work. She decides to prove that Noyontara planned the snake attack. She goes to the hall and asks everyone to stop the pooja. She questions how the snake entered the house. She shows the milk bowl that Noyontara had kept outside for the snake. Lata asks how that milk bowl reached Surjo’s room. Noyontara tells Surjo that she did not place the bowl there. Surjo asks Lata to calm down.
Surjo defends Noyontara. Noyontara says she will speak after the pooja is completed. Lata accuses Noyontara of planning the snake attack. She points out that Surjo’s shirt smells of milk and claims Noyontara splashed milk on him. Surjo reminds her that Noyontara saved his life. Lata asks how he has changed so much. She breaks down and says she cannot imagine life if anything happens to Surjo. She walks away in tears.
Later, Surjo asks Noyontara to ensure that Lata smiles again. He says Lata is his life. Lata overhears the conversation and thinks she can use her tears as a weapon. Noyontara tells Surjo that she cannot bear to see tears in his eyes. She promises to keep his mother happy.
