Raghav greets Kali and asks how she is. Kali says she is fine. She then tells Raghav that a big drama will unfold today and asks him to wait and watch. Kali says the only thing left to do is make Ved drink alcohol and get him so intoxicated that he will not understand what is happening.

Sanya announces to the audience that Yuvraj and Mehek have arrived and asks everyone to give them a round of applause.
A waiter offers drinks to Ved, but Ved refuses. Kali and Uday insist that he should at least have a drink, saying it would be disrespectful if he refused completely. Ved finally agrees to take the glass, but he still avoids drinking the alcohol.
Meanwhile, Aarti remembers Padma’s warning that the person who called her might have set a trap and that she should be careful.
Everyone at the party begins dancing to a song. Ved stands alone in a corner and still does not drink.
Bhajan calls Aarti and asks where she is. Aarti has just gotten out of an auto. She talks to Bhajan over the phone, unaware that he is the mysterious caller who promised information about her father’s killer. Bhajan guides Aarti on how to reach the party venue.
The party continues. Aarti arrives and sees Kali dancing with Ved. She feels heartbroken. Aarti remembers what Ved had previously told her.
While dancing with Kali, Ved suddenly notices Aarti. Bhajan thinks his plan has worked and wonders if Ved will now become like Devdas for Aarti. Ved calls out to Aarti, but she leaves immediately.
Ved recalls that Aarti saw him dancing with Kali and left. Feeling miserable, he begins drinking alcohol one glass after another. Soon Ved becomes heavily intoxicated. He continues drinking and eventually breaks a glass in anger, then orders the DJ to stop the music.
Ved loudly demands that the music be stopped. The Rajput family notices that he is drunk and comments on his condition. Nivedita asks Kali to handle Ved, but Kali refuses. She says Ved wants to be intoxicated.
Kali then asks Ved if he loves Aarti very much. Ved, in his drunken state, says that Kali is his love, but in the same breath declares that he hates her. He angrily asks someone to throw Kali out of the place.
Ved grabs a bottle of whiskey and drinks directly from it. Due to the heavy intoxication, he soon collapses on the floor.
Mehek asks everyone what is happening at the party. Abhay and Uday lift Ved and make him sit on the sofa. Uday places the wedding registry papers in front of Ved and asks him to sign them.
Ved asks Uday what the papers are. Uday tells him that he will explain later.
Precap: Uday and Abhay manage to obtain Ved’s signature on the wedding registry papers.
Later, in his intoxicated state, Ved goes to Aarti and tells her that he will protect her and will not allow anything to happen to her.
