Rishi insists that Aditi will not support him regarding Jhanak, and he refuses to change his decision. Aditi maintains her stance. Rishi requests a private conversation with Aniruddh. Aniruddh asks Aditi to go to college, and she leaves.
Putul tells Jhanak to rest and not think about going to Simulboni, though Jhanak still desires to visit her home.
In Simulboni, Parashar asks Nutan why she is unwell, pleading with her to stay alive. Nutan struggles to breathe and cries. Parashar laments that he wanted to marry her and keep her happy, but she never agreed. Mangal notes that the doctor has gone to the city.
Meanwhile, Rishi delivers Nutan’s letter to Aniruddh. Aniruddh initially suggests sending Jhanak to Simulboni after discharge. Rishi urges him to read the letter first. Upon reading, Aniruddh learns that Jhanak is his and Nutan’s daughter. He is shocked, recalling his moments with Nutan, his family’s refusal to accept her, and how he refused to accept her child. He realizes Jhanak is unaware and that Nutan is nearing death, understanding that she wants him to take care of her daughter.
Rishi offers him water and asks if he still believes Jhanak should be sent back to Simulboni. Aniruddh instead asks whether Rishi has shared this truth with Aditi. Rishi confirms that no one else knows. Aniruddh urgently instructs him to keep the matter secret, warning that revealing Jhanak’s identity would destroy everything. He even questions whether Nutan’s letter contains the truth.
Rishi is angered by this reaction and questions how Aniruddh could doubt Nutan’s honesty, especially when she is on her deathbed. Aniruddh admits he cannot accept this truth suddenly. He explains that his family would collapse under the weight of this revelation and emphasizes the sacrifices he made to build his current life. He also insists that Aditi would never tolerate such truth. However, he offers to support Jhanak financially.
Rishi criticizes Aniruddh, saying money cannot replace the responsibility of acknowledging his daughter publicly. Aniruddh insists he has no other option. Rishi reminds him that he made a promise to Nutan and cannot send Jhanak away. Aniruddh questions why Rishi is taking on such responsibility. Rishi responds bluntly that he is doing so because Aniruddh refuses to fulfill his duty as a father.
Precap: Aniruddh warns Rishi not to reveal the truth to Jhanak, insisting he will not accept it publicly. Meanwhile, Nutan’s condition worsens, and she collapses, leaving Parashar in shock.
