Jhanak dreams of Nutan, who tells her she will now be free from pain and urges her to be strong. Jhanak pleads with Nutan not to leave, but Nutan explains that God has called her and she must go. Meanwhile, Parashar mourns over Nutan’s body. Mangal reminds him that the past cannot be changed and that Nutan will remain in their memories. Parashar performs the last rites, recalling the moments he shared with her.
Back at home, Dadabhai asks Rishi about Jhanak’s father. Rishi remains vague, stating the truth will be revealed at the right time. Tanushri presses him, but he refuses to answer. He declares that if Nutan survives, Jhanak may go to Simulboni for her recovery and studies, but since Nutan has passed, he will take full responsibility for Jhanak’s education. Tanushri questions who will take her for exams, and Rishi confirms he will handle it personally.
Indumati is puzzled by Rishi’s sudden change in attitude. Rishi explains that he was never against Jhanak’s studies but wanted to shield his family from involvement. Now the situation has shifted, and he feels compelled to act. Tanushri asks if Aditi knows, and Rishi says he will inform her later.
Rishi clarifies that neither he nor Jhanak accept the marriage, but he must do this for her because she saved Dadabhai’s life and his job. Tanushri reluctantly allows him to proceed, suggesting Jhanak could live as a maid, but Dadabhai insists she will be treated as a family member. Rishi refuses to label her a maid.
The situation escalates when Rishi receives a call from Parashar, informing him about Nutan’s death, shocking him.
