Anjana tells Aditi that they should support Jhanak out of humanity, emphasizing that she deserves a chance to study. Arshi sarcastically suggests celebrating Jhanak’s success with sweets. Anjana explains that she knew Nutan and feels genuinely happy for Jhanak’s achievement. Aditi questions this bond, pointing out that Anjana knew Nutan only briefly. Anjana clarifies that Nutan was like a daughter to her.
Arshi criticizes Nutan, claiming she brought turmoil into their lives. She questions why Nutan would lie about Aniruddh if she were truly a good person, adding that ultimately, people will blame Aniruddh. Anjana firmly defends Nutan, stating that she would never lie without reason and that only Nutan and Aniruddh know the truth. She insists that if Nutan were alive, the truth would have surfaced by now, but regardless, this issue should not affect Jhanak’s future.
Aditi remarks that her in-laws support Jhanak so strongly that nothing will hinder her progress. Meanwhile, Arshi quietly comments that history seems to be repeating itself. She questions whether Aditi plans to stay there. Aditi explains that since the media will arrive to interview Jhanak, she must remain present in case any sensitive topic about Aniruddh arises. Anjana reassures her that Jhanak would not behave irresponsibly and advises her to stop speaking negatively. When Aditi questions if she appears insecure, Anjana bluntly states that her words clearly reflect insecurity.
The tension escalates when Aditi questions Nutan’s past decisions, asking why she did not stop the forced marriage despite being educated and living in the city, and why she claimed that Jhanak is Aniruddh’s daughter. Anjana warns her not to speak disrespectfully about Nutan and then reveals a shocking truth. It was Nutan who raised Aditi in the village for five years before Aniruddh brought her to the city. Aditi is left stunned. Anjana further adds that Arshi had not accepted Aditi, and it is because of Nutan that Aditi is alive today.

On the other side, media personnel interview Jhanak about her achievement. Jhanak humbly states that she did not expect such success and that she must work even harder to fulfill her mother’s dream. When asked about her parents, she becomes emotional, saying her mother recently passed away and that she aspires to become a doctor to honor her.
Tanushri grows irritated and questions how long the interview will continue, reminding everyone that this is a house, not an office. Jhanak politely thanks the media and requests them to leave, but the reporters continue, questioning Tanushri about her apparent discomfort and her relationship with Jhanak. Tanushri responds that Rishi brought Jhanak there to help her and insists that the interview end immediately.
Dadabhai, however, encourages the media to complete the interview. They take photos of Jhanak and praise her performance. When asked about her father, Jhanak refuses to discuss personal matters. Soon, Aditi arrives. A reporter asks if Jhanak wants to say anything to her father. With quiet strength, Jhanak states that she does not wish to speak about someone who never accepted her and reiterates her goal of becoming a doctor.
The media then asks Aditi for her opinion. Aditi responds coldly, saying that excelling in exams and succeeding in life are entirely different. She also claims that Jhanak’s mother is from Srinagar, not a village, but Putul corrects her, stating that Nutan was born in a village. The reporters invite Jhanak for a studio interview later, but she declines, saying it is unnecessary.
Meanwhile, Neelu complains that no one is paying attention to Mishti, who is upset. She taunts Jhanak for giving such a long interview. The media obtains Rishi’s contact details and leaves. Aditi questions Rishi about sharing his number, but he dismisses it as insignificant. Neelu criticizes Rishi for getting involved in Jhanak’s matters, insisting that the family should focus on Mishti instead. Aditi echoes this, telling Rishi to prioritize his sister over outsiders.
Dadabhai announces a celebration for both Jhanak and Mishti in the evening. However, Jhanak objects, saying it is inappropriate to celebrate when Mishti is upset. Tanushri accuses Jhanak of pretending, while Indumati scolds her for speaking too much during the interview. Tanushri warns her not to become arrogant.
Amid the criticism, Rishi supports Jhanak, advising her to ignore negativity and expressing hope for her continued success. Aditi, clearly irritated, sarcastically remarks that Rishi should continue praising her. Rishi openly admits that he is proud of Jhanak and considers her talented. Unable to tolerate this, Aditi leaves in anger.
Later, Mishti’s friends visit and discuss Jhanak’s achievement. Putul praises Jhanak, but Mishti asks them to stop. Tanushri calls Jhanak over, and Mishti’s friends begin speaking to her in English. Jhanak responds in Hindi, which leads them to laugh. One of them mockingly questions how she passed her English exam and even suggests she may have cheated. Jhanak, hurt but composed, questions their behavior.
Precap: Jhanak speaks fluently in English, surprising everyone, while Rishi firmly warns Tanushri not to repeat such behavior.
