Noyontara builds a palpable sense of foreboding as unseen forces begin to move.
Surjo reassures Noyontara that the police inspector will soon arrest Lata and Gurudev, so she does not need to worry. He urges her to smile. However, her unease does not fade.
Elsewhere, Lata takes Gurudev to a hospital and demands that he arrange a female body before evening. Gurudev rebukes her for recklessly promising Shaoli’s spirit a body. He warns that the consequences will be severe. Lata argues she had no choice because she was trying to save her life. She insists that Shaoli’s spirit would have destroyed her if she had not agreed.

They enter a doctor’s cabin without permission. Lata bluntly tells the doctor she needs a body. The doctor recognizes Gurudev and questions his involvement. Gurudev clarifies they require a female corpse. Lata shows Shaoli’s photograph and demands the body resemble her. The doctor cautions that he cannot guarantee the success of any surgical reconstruction.
Back at the mansion, the priest informs Poulomi that the following day is highly auspicious, and no favorable date will occur for months afterward. Poulomi immediately agrees to proceed. Noyontara instructs her to arrange for gangaajal in a kalash.
Shashodar announces that he will perform the putradaan ritual. At that moment, the glass that Noyontara is holding shatters unexpectedly. Later, Surjo applies ointment to her injured hand. He senses her fear and asks what is troubling her. He reassures her that he stands beside her.
Noyontara notices a crack in the wall and feels as though someone is watching her. Surjo remarks that since Shaoli’s photograph has been removed, they can hang another one. Noyontara places Lata’s photo on the wall instead.
Subsequently, Surjo prepares to leave for the hospital. Noyontara insists she will accompany him, calling herself his shadow. He reminds her that their wedding is scheduled for the next day and she has preparations to complete. He assures her he is safe and departs. Shortly afterward, Noyontara observes that the wall crack has widened.
Sensing danger, she goes downstairs, takes gangaajal, fills several kalash, and places them outside the house as a protective measure. Mala, puzzled, believes Noyontara is wasting sacred water needed for the pooja. Quietly, Mala replaces the gangaajal with ordinary water to prevent its misuse.
Later, unaware of the switch, Noyontara sprinkles the ordinary water around the house. She prepares rangoli powder with it, mistakenly believing it is gangaajal. Mala watches and feels satisfied with her decision. Suddenly, a crow’s feather falls into the rangoli mixture. Noyontara interprets it as an ominous sign and senses that a powerful evil presence is approaching.
The episode closes on this ominous note, with protective rituals unknowingly rendered ineffective.
Precap: Surjo tells Noyontara that their relationship will now be founded on love rather than compromise. As he lifts the marriage garland to place around her neck, Shaoli appears and stops him. Surjo is stunned to see her.
