Despite repeated practice, minor mistakes and confusion persist.
Observing the chaos, Shakuntala suggests rehearsing directly on the main stage to get accustomed to the environment. While excitement spreads among participants and spectators, Mrs. Kulkarni eagerly anticipates a blunder, confident that the Deshmukh family will embarrass themselves. Renuka gathers her family, urging them to stick to the script and avoid giving Mrs. Kulkarni an opportunity to mock them.
During the final rehearsal, confusion escalates. Many actors forget their cues or mix up lines. Tejas grows restless about his grand entry, constantly interrupting. Riya attempts to manage the situation, giving a brief introduction to the Ramayana story and cueing the family. Paresh, as King Dashrath, delivers his lines confidently, encouraging the rest of the family to follow suit.
Humor ensues when Tejas, disguised as a maid, walks on stage demanding the main role. Sachin, Sayali, and Akash scramble to maintain the act while pushing him offstage. The audience finds the mix-up amusing, but Mrs. Kulkarni is furious, calling it a disgraceful performance.
In the next act, Paresh and Renuka shine in their emotional confrontation as Dashrath and Kaikeyi, inspiring Sachin to connect deeply with his role as Lord Ram. However, during an intense scene, both Sachin and Sayali forget their lines. With subtle hints from Riya backstage, they recover and continue. Paresh and Sachin improvise slightly, adding personal emotion, but the audience misinterprets it as casualness.
Finally, Tejas makes his anticipated entrance as Ravana but again deviates from the script. He aggressively holds Sayali’s hand during the act, prompting her to break character and shout. A heated argument erupts between Tejas and Sachin in front of everyone. The director is left shocked as the rehearsal dissolves into chaos. Mrs. Kulkarni mocks the Deshmukh family, calling their performance undisciplined and a complete disaster.
