Punit gives a tough challenge to Mannat, deliberately setting her up to fail. Meanwhile, Aishwarya asks Mallika if she enjoys Vickrant’s company. Mallika replies that he is fun and adds that they both share a common opinion about Mannat’s talent.
This irritates Aishwarya, who immediately scolds her for mentioning Mannat in front of Vickrant. She instructs Mallika to focus only on herself and Vickrant, not anyone else. Vickrant interrupts and says it is time to leave.
In the kitchen, Mannat struggles to complete the vegetable chopping task within the time limit. When time runs out, Punit declares that she has failed. He harshly states that she does not deserve to be a chef and mocks her for wearing bangles. He goes further, humiliating her by saying that as a woman, she should stick to cooking at home instead of working in a professional kitchen. He also taunts her about her background. Provoked and hurt, Mannat confronts him. She questions how he can judge her without giving her a fair chance to prove herself. She demands an opportunity.

Punit, however, continues his sexist remarks, insisting that she cannot match men in a male-dominated field.
Mannat, refusing to back down, responds firmly. She lists successful women chefs as her inspiration and points out that they must have faced similar discrimination but overcame it to succeed.
She argues that women manage entire households and cook daily for families, producing food full of care and taste. She challenges his mindset, stating that his judgment is driven by ego, not reality.
After this confrontation, she walks away. Shortly after, she receives a call from the doctor regarding her mother’s test results. She initially assumes it is good news, but the doctor informs her that the result is negative and urgent surgery is required. She is asked to arrange the money immediately.
This devastates Mannat. She realizes she desperately needs the job and becomes willing to do anything, even swallow her pride, to secure it.
Determined, she approaches Punit again, but he lashes out at her and orders her to leave the kitchen, making it clear she is not welcome. Heartbroken, Mannat walks away.
Later, Vickrant asks Punit about the selection. Mallika also eagerly asks if Mannat has been chosen. Punit lies, claiming that she lacks talent, burned food, and even injured herself due to carelessness. He dismisses her as someone relying on recommendations rather than ability.
Mallika objects, saying the decision is unfair, but Aishwarya silently smirks. Vickrant, initially siding with Punit, remarks that success does not come easily.
Meanwhile, a shattered Mannat shares everything with Shruthi, who comforts her and assures her that things will work out.
Later, Vickrant reconsiders and asks Mallika if she truly believes Punit was unfair. When she confirms it and praises Mannat’s talent, Vickrant agrees to give Mannat another chance. Mallika thanks him.
At home, Mannat expresses her fears to Harneet, who reassures her that she will get the job. However, when Mannat attends again, she is told that she has been rejected by Punit, implying she lacks ability and should not have challenged him.
Elsewhere, Punit questions Aishwarya about rejecting Mannat, admitting she is actually talented. Aishwarya coldly reveals her true mindset. She dismisses Mannat because of her poor background, claiming that such people take advantage of the rich and rise using their money. She bluntly states that she dislikes poor people, exposing the depth of her prejudice.
