Surjo agrees internally that he wants a divorce from Noyontara. Shaoli urges him to inform Noyontara immediately, but Surjo hesitates, saying it’s not easy. Shaoli pressures him, saying she doesn’t trust him and demands he act now. Surjo leaves, and Shaoli smiles, recalling how Noyontara slapped her. She vows to ruin Noyontara’s life and take everything from her.

Meanwhile, Noyontara sees Surjo approaching and moves toward him. Surjo struggles with how to tell her about the divorce, thinking he cannot live without her. Noyontara notices his pale face and asks what is wrong. Surjo tells her he has bad news. Noyontara assumes it is about Shaoli, believing she has died and gone to heaven, but Surjo clarifies that Shaoli is alive.

Mohor joins them, and Noyontara tells Surjo she is busy with puja preparations and will handle Shaoli herself. She leaves with Mohor, determined not to let Surjo speak about divorce. Surjo feels relieved that he couldn’t reveal his decision yet. Shaoli, overhearing, confronts Surjo about why he didn’t tell Noyontara. Surjo says it will take time. Shaoli says she will inform Noyontara herself and leaves.

Later, Noyontara goes to the hall carrying a rope. Mala asks her why. Shaoli appears, and Noyontara explains she wants to ensure Shaoli doesn’t harm herself again. She instructs Mala to tie Shaoli to a pillar, threatening to expose her if she refuses. Mala, scared, complies. Shaoli pleads with Surjo to save her.

Noyontara breaks a coconut in front of Shaoli, frightening her further. Mohor laughs, saying ghosts fear humans. Mala asks Noyontara to stop. Shaoli realizes she is vulnerable because she is in a human body. Noyontara scares her with an ax. Surjo intervenes, asking Noyontara to listen to him, but she says she will hear him later and throws the ax near Shaoli. Shaoli panics, claiming Noyontara will kill her. Mala unties Shaoli, who moves toward Surjo, but Noyontara hits her with the coconut.

Surjo again tells Noyontara he wants a divorce. Noyontara refuses to end their relationship easily, saying she needs ten years to think, and goes inside. Shaoli taunts Surjo, claiming Noyontara is uneducated and could be manipulated into signing the divorce without knowing. Surjo rejects her argument.
