Zoon refuses to eat, and Ritesh lets her be. Dolly asks Indu how she got Kaamna to agree to let her take care of Zoon, given the earlier scene. Indu explains that she reminded Kaamna that Zoon could fall ill if she skipped meals, and it could reflect badly on Sameer and Kadambari in court. Kaamna agreed reluctantly. Dolly warns that Kaamna is not someone to trust easily.

Rahul arrives with Anjali’s books to return them. Indu thanks him. Ritesh tells Zoon that his day is made better by her presence and kisses her. Zoon teases both Ritesh and Indu about their ongoing arguments, suggesting they kiss to end it. Both feel awkward but follow her cue, sharing playful kisses with Zoon.
Kaamna, in her room, frets over dropping a tablet and fears Ritesh discovering the truth. She calls her lawyer for guidance, determined to prevent Indu and Ritesh from meeting Zoon freely.
At Raina’s house, Rahul visits, and Sunita praises him. Anjali brings tea and jokingly asks her parents to stop questioning him. Rahul explains that the conversation gives him a “home feeling” despite his glamorous career. Sunita encourages him to visit anytime, and he agrees.
Back with Zoon, she struggles with her math homework. Indu helps her with some questions and encourages her to complete the rest. Zoon complains about being teased at school, and Indu reminds her of Ritesh’s advice to ignore others’ words. Ritesh joins and explains that if he cannot be her “genie papa,” he will be her “tau ji” (uncle) and Indu her “tai ji” (aunt). Zoon expresses that she wants her genie papa and mouj. Indu reassures her that love and care remain unchanged, regardless of names, and both Ritesh and Indu hug her to convince her.
Vivaan repeatedly calls Anjali, eventually persuading her to accept his call. They playfully challenge each other, and Vivaan surprises Anjali with a visit, persuading her to be his best friend again before leaving happily.
The next day, Indu does Zoon’s hair. Kaamna arrives, scolding Indu for taking advantage of the situation, but Indu ignores her. Meanwhile, Sunita misinterprets Asha’s words, thinking Anjali likes Rahul, and prays for her happiness. Indu sends Zoon to school. Kaamna mocks her, and Indu defends her actions as normal middle-class mother behavior. She reassures that she and Ritesh are not violating the court order, meeting Zoon as her aunt and uncle. Kaamna watches, furious.
Precap: Kaamna asks Sameer why he wants money; he says it’s to book a house abroad. Kaamna taunts him. Indu tells Zoon that her father should attend the PTA meeting, but Zoon insists on either Indu or Ritesh attending. Indu explains that some things cannot be changed.
