He also notes that Jhanak never contacted him either.
Aditi shifts the conversation back to the trip, suggesting a mountain destination. Rishi finds it surprising she did not suggest going abroad. He agrees to a short two to three-day trip and mentions taking leave.

When Aditi asks about the call, Rishi vaguely mentions a program without taking Jhanak’s name. He claims he has already declined the invitation. Aditi seeks reassurance, asking for affection, and Rishi kisses her forehead before leaving.
In Simulboni, preparations for the ceremony are underway. Kanka repeatedly insists that Rishi will not attend, which irritates others. Parashar questions her negativity and tells her not to come if she feels that way. Jhanak calms the situation and asks everyone to focus on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Aditi again checks with Rishi about attending the program. He denies going and claims he has a meeting with senior officers. She plans a dinner and shopping outing with Neelu, expressing happiness in their relationship and even planning to cook something special for him.
Rishi responds cautiously, advising her to be careful. He reassures her about taking leave for their trip. Aditi expresses willingness to wait if needed, reinforcing her emotional investment. Rishi acknowledges her understanding nature.
Before leaving, Aditi reminds him that he forgot to hug her. He complies, but internally admits a critical truth. He is actually going to meet Jhanak and recognizes the emotional risk involved. Despite everything, he cannot forget her.
Elsewhere, Tanushri feels uneasy without understanding why. Indumati attributes it to thoughts about Jhanak and reassures her that Jhanak will not return or disrupt Aditi and Rishi’s relationship.
Back at the house, concern arises when Rishi leaves without breakfast. Indumati asks Dadabhai to call him, but he does not respond.
Finally, Jhanak arrives at the school with others, where the teacher warmly welcomes them for the ceremony. The stage is set for a significant encounter.
Precap: Jhanak confronts Rishi, questioning why he came despite her cutting all ties with him. Rishi responds with a confession. He tells her that he loves her.
