On social media, the hashtag #WeAreTheFlood trends. Townspeople post flood damage side by side with official press releases claiming improved weather control. Amara’s inbox slams shut—supporters ask for justice, but detractors label her a threat, a "saboteur in exile."

At lunch with Rhea, Amara weighs the cost. “Trust is gone. They’re coming after anyone who questions the program.”

Rhea nods, eyes more tired than before. “That’s why you can’t quit now. Momentum’s with you—in the open, they can’t just erase you.”

Jax sends a late-night message: "I’m off the official feed for a while. Find me via burner only."
