At the Shah residence, Hasmuk questions Paritosh about taking money from Raja. Leela confronts Paritosh over his need for cash despite having a job, only for Kinjal to reveal that he is unemployed and struggling with gambling. Shocked, Hasmuk listens as Kinjal accuses Paritosh of playing the victim. After Leela slaps him, Paritosh defends himself and vows to become a successful businessman. Kinjal insists he should leave the house, noting that even Anupama would have thrown him out. Paritosh snaps at her, warning her not to imitate Anupama, while Pari cautions him to stay away from Raja and the Kotharis.
Later, Tarun visits Manohar, who greets him warmly but is met with disrespect and pushed away. Anupama feels disheartened by Tarun’s behavior. Meanwhile, Kinjal apologizes to Pari on Paritosh’s behalf. Pari admits she misses Anupama, but also feels relief that she is away, confessing shame over the Shah family’s reputation and sympathy for Rahi.
Tarun demands that Manohar sell his house, expressing lifelong shame over his father’s profession. Manohar refuses, stating that the home is filled with memories of his late wife. Cruelly, Tarun insists he will never return, wishes for Manohar’s death to claim the property, and threatens not to perform his last rites. He even destroys Manohar’s trophies. Shocked, Manohar laments how parents raise children only to be disrespected. Overwhelmed, he collapses in front of Anupama, urging her to let him die since that is what his son wants. Desperately, Anupama rushes to save him.
Elsewhere, Pakhi plots to steal imported items from the Kotharis to resell, encouraged by Ishani, who then heads out for a coffee date.
Back at Manohar’s home, the doctor asks Anupama for Manohar’s medical history. She explains that she is merely a maid, but the doctor insists she gather the details quickly. Determined, Anupama searches for Manohar’s prescriptions. At the same time, Rahi attempts to call to check if Manohar is in Ahmedabad. Anupama sees hope in the incoming call just as Tarun catches her using the landline.
