Yuvan throws food when Niyati tries to feed him, insisting he will eat only what Banni prepares. Manini asks Banni to bring her prepared food, while Hemant calms Yuvan down. Manini scolds Niyati for being impatient and asks Hemant if the engagement rings have been found. Hemant replies that they haven’t. She declares that Banni will remain Yuvan’s caretaker until his engagement and instructs everyone to find the missing rings. Charmi, Viraj, Ananya, and others panic as they search frantically.
Manini visits Anchal’s room and asks if she has found the rings. Anchal says no and, showing her own engagement rings, says she is happy that Yuvan and Niyati can use them. Manini comments that Anchal is lucky to have left her husband, or else she would have been tortured daily. She reflects on expectations and dreams, advising that one should expect from themselves to avoid pain. Anchal admires her strength. Manini accepts Anchal’s rings for the engagement and leaves.
Yuvan looks at his mother’s photo, thinking nobody knows what he is about to do. Hemant expresses his happiness for Yuvan in front of Veer. Meanwhile, Banni feeds Yuvan food specially prepared for his engagement. Yuvan asks Banni to close her eyes, then slips his mother’s ring onto her finger. Banni is shocked and asks what he did. Yuvan loudly announces that he is engaged to Banni and will marry her soon. Everyone stands stunned. Yuvan showers flowers on Banni, saying it is his mother’s favorite ring, and now they will always be together, like Banni with her tiff and Yuvan with his music.
Hemant scolds him, saying the engagement is with Niyati, not Banni. Manini accuses Banni of manipulating Yuvan to grab his wealth, mocking her desire to wear a 1.2-crore ring despite being a poor cook. A guest praises Banni’s cleverness, but Banni firmly replies that she is a businesswoman who serves food to everyone. She explains that she brings food to Yuvan because his stepmother failed to care for him, and she understands the meaning of motherhood. She reminds everyone that she is not only serving food in this house, but in many homes; she is a devoted daughter to an elderly, blind father, a protective sister to a disabled brother, and a true friend to Yuvan.
Niyati apologizes to the guests, saying that Banni comes from a low-middle-class family and lacks manners, not knowing how to behave or dress for a party.
Precap: Manini shouts at Banni to leave her house. Goon Raja threatens Banni to repay the 3-lakh loan taken by her mamusa, or else marry him. Viraj assaults Yuvan.
