Anupama begins a new morning in Mumbai, cooking and listening to the radio as she embraces her fresh start. She wakes Jaspreet to help fetch water, showing her willingness to adjust to a simple, grounded lifestyle.
Meanwhile, at the Shah household, Leela struggles with a water bucket but refuses Prarthana’s help. Ansh steps in, quietly taking responsibility while shielding Prarthana from Leela’s constant taunts. Irritated, Leela decides to find a bride for Ansh, hoping to push Prarthana out of the house. However, Hasmuk firmly reminds her that Prarthana pays the rent and deserves respect.
At the community water line, Savita tries to bully Anupama, mocking her for being too quiet. Jaspreet steps in to defend her and encourages Anupama to be stronger. She pointedly asks if Anupama has ever fought for herself, which triggers flashes of Anupama’s painful past—her sacrifices, betrayals, and heartbreaks.

The question triggers bittersweet memories of Anuj, and Anupama momentarily drifts into the past. But she quickly gathers herself, determined to rebuild her life and carve her own destiny in this new city.
