The episode starts with Arshi telling Jhanak that she claimed Anirudh loves her. Jhanak explains that Anirudh once loved her, but he stepped back when he realized it was wrong. She admits that she still loves him but doesn’t wish to pursue him, reassuring Arshi that she shouldn’t worry about her presence. Anirudh overhears their conversation and enters the room. Arshi asks Jhanak to bring her soup, and Jhanak offers to bring juice later, suggesting she should help Anjana with household chores. Jhanak then leaves.
Arshi asks Anirudh if he feels bad. He tells her that she could have hired a caretaker instead. Arshi reminds him of Shubh’s financial issues and argues that since Jhanak is already living there, it’s fine for her to help with chores. She adds that if a caretaker is hired, Jhanak would have to move to Shrishti’s house. Anirudh refuses to treat Jhanak like a maid, while Arshi insists that Jhanak is simply helping her sister. Anirudh realizes Arshi has started a new game.
Elsewhere, Jhimli talks to her boyfriend, regretting that her father’s death changed everything. She questions why he hasn’t taken her to meet his parents. He says he can’t tell them about his love for a Basti girl and that his rich background doesn’t allow him to bring his parents to her home. He promises that he loves her and will marry her, while Jhimli vows to claim her share of the money. He encourages her to fight for her rights and assures her of his support.
Later, Anirudh asks Jhanak if she hates him. She tells him to focus on his life, but he insists that her living in his house is enough for him. Jhanak explains that he should understand why she called Choton instead of him earlier. Anirudh warns her not to go outside, saying danger awaits her, and asks if she’s stopping him because he isn’t happy. She replies that it isn’t about her feelings. He admits he deserves her hate, and she agrees.
At the Basti, Appu tells Anuradha that the doctor said she will recover soon. Jhimli complains about the money being spent on Appu’s treatment and demands to know when her marriage will happen. Anuradha warns her not to accuse Lalon, while Appu promises to work after her recovery so they can arrange a grand wedding for Jhimli. Jhimli pushes Appu away, accusing Lalon of spending her share. Anuradha refuses to give Jhimli money, doubting her boyfriend’s intentions. Jhimli threatens legal action, forcing Lalon to consider giving her the money despite Anuradha’s protests.
Meanwhile, Jhanak refuses to talk to Anirudh when he asks if she thinks he betrayed her. He insists he didn’t cheat her, and she says she isn’t insulting him. He tells her not to speak if she doesn’t wish to, and she sarcastically asks if he can order her like Arshi does. Jhanak says she will stay until Arshi gives birth and use that time to plan her future. When Anirudh asks if she plans to marry, Jhanak replies that marriage isn’t a woman’s only goal and that he can talk to her as his wife’s sister.
