At the hospital, the doctor and nurse ask Jhanak for her name and address. She says she was abducted by a goon and doesn’t remember much else, only that she’s from Kolkata. When asked about her father, she says he never accepted her, leaving the doctor confused.
The doctor later informs Rishi that Jhanak needs more tests. Rishi agrees and shows his police ID when the doctor questions his relationship with her. He insists she’s talking nonsense. The doctor advises him to wait for the results.
Meanwhile, the nurse explains the upcoming tests to Jhanak. She asks for Rishi, and the nurse suggests filing a complaint if he’s gone. Jhanak admits she lied and says she’s going to work at Rishi’s house. The nurse assumes she’s fine because of how much she talks but insists on the tests anyway.
In another room, Jhanak admires the surroundings. When Rishi arrives, the nurse steps out. Jhanak tries to lighten the mood, but Rishi scolds her for accusing him of being a goon. He reminds her of all the trouble she’s caused. Jhanak pleads with him not to yell and begs him to take her away—she’s scared of the tests. Rishi tells her to follow the doctor’s instructions.
Elsewhere, Dhamu tells Veer and Mangal that he forgot to get Rishi’s number. They worry about facing Parashar. Back in the village, Nutan is shocked to hear they lost contact with Rishi and fears something bad may have happened to Jhanak. When the lamp blows out, Kanka calls it a bad omen and declares Jhanak a curse. Nutan scolds her, insisting Rishi is a police officer from Kolkata. Dhamu, Veer, and Mangal leave to find his address while Rani and Sakhi try to comfort Nutan.
Meanwhile, Aditi calls Rishi, upset that he didn’t answer her calls. He blames the poor network in Simulbuni. When she questions their bond, he reassures her that no one can come between them. They exchange “I love yous,” while Rishi secretly recalls his marriage to Jhanak.
Elsewhere, Pralay confronts Jeet for taking Pihu to the farmhouse. Jeet lies, saying Pihu wanted to visit and that Ishani caused drama. He adds that he and Ishani were in love and tried to get married, but her family stopped them. Pralay, still bitter, says Ishani betrayed him and vows she can’t stay in his house. Jeet gives him a file containing everything about the past, claiming he understands his pain.

Rishi tells Jhanak it’s good she wiped off the vermilion and warns her never to mention their fake marriage again. Later, he brings her home and introduces her to the family as their new servant.
