The Episode begins with Parashar asking Nutan if she has chosen a name for her baby. Nutan smiles softly and says she wants to name her daughter Jhanak. Parashar reminds her that Jhanak used to be her own name. Nutan replies that she left that identity behind long ago and now wants her daughter to carry it forward. She explains that the name represents dance, beauty, and life. She adds that she hopes everything goes well for her child.
Parashar, always concerned for her, offers her fruit and then brings up Anirudh, saying he feels Anirudh still loves her deeply. Nutan refuses to discuss him. Parashar then mentions that he is planning to move to the city to join politics and requests Nutan to remain in the village and take care of the baby.
At that moment, Nutan sees a call from Anirudh. She hesitates, but Parashar encourages her to answer. She puts the call on speaker. Anirudh, speaking with a heavy voice, delivers heartbreaking news. Appu is no more. Nutan is shocked and asks how it happened. Anirudh explains that Anjana asked him to inform them. He adds that his company will build a school in the village and he wants it named after Appu. He ends the call abruptly, leaving Nutan in tears. She cries that she did not get to see Appu one last time. Parashar quietly steps away to give her space.
Elsewhere, Ishani meets her college principal. The principal expresses sympathy but states that Ishani cannot attend college anymore. She must study from home because parents of other students are pressuring the administration. Ishani protests, insisting that she has done nothing wrong. She asks how she is expected to prepare for exams from home. The principal says the decision is final and out of her control. Ishani argues that society has judged her based on sensational reports instead of truth, yet her words fall on deaf ears. She leaves the office in tears.
Meanwhile, mourning fills Anirudh’s house. Anjana remembers tender moments with Appu, while Lalon is shattered by guilt. Choton begs for one last song from Appu, holding on to memories. Anuradha calls Appu the Lakshmi of their home. Anjana says that even though Appu received immense love, destiny took her happiness away too soon.
In another part of the story, Abhijeet asks about Ishani’s situation. Adrika tells him she is not allowed to attend college anymore. Ambika adds that the media is camping outside and that Ishani has become a burden. Ishani walks in crying. Abhijeet says he will speak to the principal, but Ambika coldly replies that there is no point. She then asks who will marry Ishani now. She insists they should get her married quickly and move on. Abhijeet is shocked and asks how a mother can speak that way. Ambika defends herself by saying she has two other children to protect and that Ishani has become a liability.
Back at the mourning house, Bablu begs Appu to wake up. Anirudh tries to comfort everyone, saying Appu will live in their hearts forever. Laal, drowning in guilt, calls himself a failed brother. Mimi arrives and tells everyone that Appu is still with them in spirit. Anjana weeps, unable to understand why Appu left them. Lalon, with trembling hands and a broken heart, prepares for the final rites.
