Parashar gently urged Jhanak to marry Anirudh and return to the city with him. Jhanak, stunned, questions how he can make such a big decision about her life. Parashar calmly explains that as a friend, he has every right to guide her. He admits that Jhanak never loved him and says it is time she follows her heart. He believes Anirudh will take better care of her and leaves her in Anirudh’s hands.
Anirudh, overwhelmed, promises Jhanak a future filled with love and peace. He assures her that she need not worry about Arshi—he is ready to give Arshi everything she deserves as alimony. What he truly wants, however, is only Jhanak. His love is evident as he breaks down in tears.
Elsewhere, Ambika gently encourages Ishani to appear for her exams privately, but Abhijeet disagrees, fearing it would hurt her confidence. Heartbroken, Ishani asks why all this misfortune has fallen upon her. Abhijeet reassures her that she is not alone and promises to always be there for her. Feeling guilty, Ambika explains that her harsh reactions came from concern for Aarav and Adrika. She apologizes sincerely. Abhijeet, holding back tears, tells Ishani that she is the child he loves most and promises to help her get admitted to a new college. They share a warm, emotional hug, and Ambika promises to cook Ishani’s favorite dishes once she returns home. For the first time in a while, Ishani looks somewhat at peace.
Meanwhile, grief still hangs over Lalon’s home. Anjana asks Kajol if she is okay. Although Kajol says yes, Bablu senses her pain. Lalon, drowning in sorrow, admits he no longer wishes to live. Anuradha, upset, scolds him, warning that if he continues like this, he might as well leave like Apu did. Bablu opens up, reminding him of Apu’s last wish—that Lalon pursue singing and, more shockingly, that he marry Kajol.
Both Lalon and Kajol are taken aback. Kajol begs Bablu not to say such things, but Bablu insists. He asks if they will ignore Apu’s dying wish. Lalon says it is impossible to go against her memory. Bablu explains that Apu knew Lalon would crumble after her death and wanted Kajol by his side to help him move forward. Anuradha supports the idea, but Anjana resists, unable to accept anyone in Apu’s place. Kajol agrees, saying she could never replace Apu. Bablu argues that Kajol is already part of the family and like a daughter to him. He urges Lalon to give Kajol a chance, warning that he will not speak to him again if he refuses to move on. Lalon insists he is not disrespecting Apu’s memory. Bablu tells Kajol not to come to the house again if the proposal is rejected.
The next morning, Arshi vents to her family, upset that Anirudh has returned to Jhanak. Shubhankar advises her to discuss matters directly with Anirudh. Anjana reminds everyone that this is a husband-and-wife issue and they should not interfere. Bablu points out that Arshi should care about Jhanak, her sister. Shubhankar, concerned about Tanuja’s condition, tells Arshi to stop making everything an issue, noting that Anirudh has always followed her wishes. Choton supports this, emphasizing that Anirudh is not a child and she should let things be. When Arshi becomes angry, Choton bluntly states that Anirudh is not emotionally connected to her—this marriage will not work.
Meanwhile, Parashar brings Jhanak back to his village. He assures her that Bua and Kanka will face consequences for their actions. Jhanak, with her characteristic kindness, says punishment is unnecessary and subtly asks about Anirudh. Parashar informs her that Anirudh has gone home to make all arrangements. Bua and Kanka, bitter as ever, gossip behind closed doors. Bua accuses Jhanak of casting a spell on Parashar and questions if Anirudh is the real father of Jhanak’s unborn child. Kanka smugly agrees, confident that Parashar cannot be the father.
As Jhanak arrives, Rani and Phool welcome her warmly. Parashar stops Bua and Kanka at the door, declaring they do not deserve to see Jhanak. He warns them to confess their lies to the Sarpanch and apologize.
