Gaurav gathers all the family members and tells them that Raghav has been taken into custody. Vaibhav tells Gaurav he must be mistaken. Sanya says the news channels are already showing that Raghav has been arrested for Padma’s murder. Gaurav is shocked.
Vaibhav asks Gaurav what they should do next. Nivedita asks him to call Raghav. Gaurav agrees but says Raghav is not answering his calls.
Mehek asks Gaurav if he did not see how the police took Raghav away. The Rajput family becomes worried. Gaurav says it will not be easy to keep Raghav locked up since he is a criminal lawyer.
Ishani accuses Anjali of framing Raghav for Padma’s murder. Gaurav defends Anjali, saying she would never do that. Sadhika tells Gaurav that Ishani may be right. Sadhika asks where Anjali is. Sanya says Raghav asked Anjali to leave the house. Hearing this, Sadhika begins to believe her suspicion is correct.
Gaurav receives a call from the police station. Pankaj asks him to send a family member there and confirms Raghav is in custody. Gaurav asks if Padma is truly dead. Pankaj refuses to share that information.
Raghav later speaks to Gaurav on the phone. Gaurav asks about his condition. Raghav tells him not to worry and says he will return home soon. He says the police will not be able to keep him there for long and ends the call.
Pankaj asks Raghav who he thinks will come to save him. At that moment, Anjali arrives at the station and requests Pankaj to release Raghav, insisting he is innocent. Pankaj disagrees and says he himself is a witness. He explains that when he arrived at the crime scene, he saw Raghav with a knife in his hand while Padma lay in a pool of blood.
Raghav tells Anjali he does not need her help and that he will fight his own case since he is a criminal lawyer. Anjali agrees he is a lawyer, but reminds him that he has no idea what is happening behind the scenes. Raghav says he will get bail tomorrow.
Bhajan arrives and tells Raghav that it will not be easy. He explains that there is public outrage outside the station, crowds have surrounded the building, and Padma is in the ICU, yet Raghav is thinking about bail.
Raghav tells Bhajan that he will fight his own case and even suggests that Bhajan can help him. Bhajan refuses and says he will fight against Raghav in court. He adds that he is charging him with attempted murder. Hearing this, Anjali confronts Bhajan and asks Raghav if he now understands what kind of man Bhajan is. She vows that she will not let Raghav be punished.
Raghav again tells Anjali he does not need her help and will handle his case himself.
