Banni wakes up from her sleep, smiles, and takes her hair from Yuvan’s hand. A servant serves her tea, and Banni asks how they knew her preference. The servant replies that Yuvan informed them. Banni smiles in happiness. Manini notices the arrangements for Muhdikayi, while Devraj observes her and suspects she is planning something against them.
Banni goes to take a bath and notices the bathroom has no lock, so she decides to bathe before Yuvan wakes up. Hemant sees Manini taking out Vandana’s dress and asks why she is doing so. Manini says she is preparing it for Yuvan’s wife. Hemant leaves, confused about her intentions.
Yuvan goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth but accidentally sees Banni bathing. Banni hides herself with an umbrella and asks him to give her a dress. Yuvan jokingly suggests she bathe in front of him like he does in front of the workers. Banni warns him to leave, and Yuvan finally does. Banni then wears a bathrobe. Yuvan hugs her from behind and teases her, calling her “puppy shame.” Banni shouts at him to let go, and he leaves.
Banni gets ready and goes downstairs. Yuvan tells everyone that he saw Banni taking a bath. Family members and workers look on, and Kalpana mocks the situation. Banni takes Devraj’s blessings, noticing everyone staring at her strangely. Yuvan proudly shows how Banni bathed, making her feel extremely shameful. Viraj and Charmi laugh, sarcastically commenting that their relationship is unique. Manini asks Yuvan what he is doing.
Banni takes Yuvan aside and asks what kind of husband he is. Yuvan asks what happened, saying everyone teased him in the same way. Banni asks if he would like it if others humiliated him. Yuvan says no. Banni explains that she is his wife, and if he makes fun of her in front of others, people will make fun of his wife. Yuvan agrees and apologizes. Banni says that their insults are shared because they are one after marriage.
Banni and Yuvan go to the hall. Manini asks Yuvan if Banni explained the rules to him. Yuvan asks Devraj to place a lock in his washroom. Banni asks where Dad is, and Devraj says he will soon witness her good nature. Manini tells Banni and Yuvan to get ready for Muhdikayi and leaves. She thinks to herself that this is just the beginning of Banni’s downfall.
