Banni tries to remove her hairpin but fails and goes to find Myra. Yuvan asks her where she is going. Banni explains that she couldn’t take the hairpin off and is going to get Myra’s help. Yuvan offers to help her, but Banni initially refuses. Yuvan insists and helps her, and while assisting, he smells Banni’s hair.
Banni asks Yuvan what he is doing. Yuvan says it’s because she applied coconut oil. He recalls how his mother used to make coconut barfi and asks Banni to make it tomorrow. Yuvan then says he will go to the other room to tell his mom about it, and Banni says she will join him.
When they enter the room, Yuvan sees his mother’s photo on fire. Banni tries to stop him, but Yuvan asks her to save his mother. Devraj, Manini, and Viraj arrive and hold Yuvan back. Banni grabs a jug of water and throws it to extinguish the fire. Devraj asks how the fire started.
Manini comments that Banni had placed a Diya near the photo, so it might have caused the fire. Yuvan blames Banni for the accident, but Devraj stops him, saying she may not have done it intentionally. Banni apologizes to Yuvan, promising that such a thing will not happen again. Yuvan recalls what Devraj said earlier and mentions that his mom might be angry with him. Banni asks why his mom would be angry. As Yuvan is about to explain, Devraj hugs him and stops him. Manini sends Banni to handle Yuvan.
Banni helps Yuvan to sleep. She wonders why he acted so strangely and mentioned that his mother might be angry. She decides to discuss it with Devraj later.
Meanwhile, Manini watches the footage of Devraj and Yuvan talking. In the video, Yuvan explains that he had promised his mother he wouldn’t marry Banni, and he tried to convince Banni about it, but Devraj stopped him and told him to obey him. The photographer had accidentally recorded this conversation. Manini sees the footage, tells them not to delete it, and instructs them to hand it over to her. She begins plotting against Banni.
Later, Viraj takes Yuvan’s toy while he is sleeping, waking him up. Yuvan sees that his favorite toy, Bunty, is outside and goes to get it. Charmi and Viraj comment on Yuvan’s mother’s photo being on fire. Charmi remarks that such things happen only when someone breaks a promise or lies. Viraj dismisses it, saying it is not their problem, and leaves. Yuvan believes his mother is angry with him, thinking that’s why her photo caught fire. He goes to Devraj’s room to talk to him. Viraj tells Manini that their plan has worked.
Yuvan hugs Devraj and says he feels his mother might be angry and that he shouldn’t have married Banni. Devraj reassures him, saying his mother would never be angry with him. Yuvan asks Devraj to bring a new photo of his mother tomorrow and requests him not to tell Banni about their conversation, as she might worry or get a headache. Yuvan then returns to his room and sleeps beside Banni.
Manini thinks to herself, “This is just a breeze and it scared him this much. Imagine when the full cyclone hits—the entire story will change. We just need to work harder a little more.”
Precap: Yuvan will go into the bathroom to brush his teeth but accidentally sees Banni taking a bath. He will tell Banni that he told everyone he saw her bathing. Viraj and Charmi will sarcastically comment on their unique relationship.
