Banni asks Viraj to leave the room, telling him that she can clearly see what he is trying to do. Manini asks everyone to leave, and they all walk out. Manini then sends Yuvan to brush his teeth. She advises Banni, saying that she understands Banni has always been Yuvan’s protector, but now she is his wife and carries more responsibilities. Manini explains that since Yuvan does not understand anything about a husband-and-wife relationship, Banni must slowly make him aware of his duties. Otherwise, the family members may start questioning her intentions behind the marriage. She tells Banni to think carefully and leaves.
Banni feels helpless, thinking that for the first time in her life she has no answers. She remembers her mother and wishes she were there to guide her. Feeling completely alone, Banni breaks down and cries, recalling her childhood moments with her mother.
Meanwhile, Hemant drinks wine. Manini tells him that she knows he is upset, but he needs to rest. She takes the glass from his hand. Hemant says that if she truly cared for him, she would not have allowed all this to happen. Manini explains that Yuvan is happy with Banni, and she is doing everything for the sake of the family. She asks him to understand. Hemant says it is painful for him to see Banni’s face every day in their house. He holds Manini’s hand, and she winces in pain. Hemant notices her injury and asks what happened. Manini recalls how her brother hurt her. Hemant goes to bring ointment for her.
Later, Banni explains to Yuvan that no one is allowed to enter the husband-and-wife room. Yuvan says he will complain to Devraj because he does not want to stay in a room where no one is allowed to come. Banni tells him that this rule applies only at night. Hearing this, Yuvan feels happy. He tells her that he is sleepy and lies down on the bed, calling Banni to sleep beside him. Feeling nervous, Banni sits on the bed.
Yuvan asks why there is such a rule that no one can enter the husband-and-wife room at night and wonders if some secret work happens between them. Banni looks anxious. Yuvan tells her that he will ask Dadu about it. Banni quickly tells him that she will explain everything herself and asks him not to ask anyone else.
Elsewhere, Hemant bandages Manini’s wound. Manini thinks to herself that Hemant has always respected and loved her, so she has no issues with him, but she can never forgive Devraj. Hemant brings milk for her and assures her that her wound will heal soon.
Back in the room, Yuvan waits for Banni’s answer. Banni struggles to find the right words. She then notices Yuvan’s favorite dog doll, Bunty. Using the doll as an example, Banni explains that just like Yuvan cannot stay without Bunty, no one can come between a husband and wife. Yuvan asks if she will scold him if he sleeps with her.
Banni nods in agreement. Yuvan becomes happy and hugs her, while Banni remains thoughtful. She explains that when a girl leaves her parental home to live with her husband, she may not be able to mix freely with everyone in her in-laws’ house. The person she trusts the most is her husband, as he is the closest to her heart. That is why husband and wife need privacy to share their joys and sorrows, which cannot be discussed with others.
Yuvan says that they are also a couple. He adds that they can talk more from the next day, as he is tired now. Banni agrees. Yuvan asks her to sleep beside him. Banni tells him she will remove her bangles and come. Yuvan asks her to come quickly. Left alone, Banni prays to God, asking for the strength to maintain this relationship with Yuvan.
Precap: Yuvan touches the lamp, causing his mother’s photo to catch fire. He cries, apologizes to his mother, and begs Banni to save her. Banni tries to stop him. Manini tells Viraj that this is just the beginning and that in the coming days, the entire game will change in their favor.
