Banni breaks down as memories resurface of how her mother suffered because of her father’s betrayal and the cruelty of society. Yuvan gently hugs her from behind to comfort her. She quickly pulls away and reminds him that she has vowed to fulfill her mother’s dream by building a successful catering business. She will only consider marriage after achieving her goals, and if not, she is prepared to remain unmarried. Yuvan says they share a similar pain, as both her father and his stepmother behaved heartlessly. Banni continues to cry.
Noticing a swing nearby, Yuvan encourages Banni to sit and swings her to lift her spirits. He then asks her what kind of husband she wishes for. He leads Banni before the deity and prays for a man who will love her deeply, just like he does, but without his mental limitations. Banni watches him, emotionally conflicted. Yuvan confidently says God always listens to him and will surely send her the right partner. Banni is touched by his sincerity. Meanwhile, Manini imagines her inner voice mocking her for underestimating her enemy and losing control over Yuvan.
Later, Banni lies down to rest, still haunted by memories from her childhood. Feeling thirsty, Yuvan accidentally spills water on his T-shirt. He removes it, still worried about Banni’s emotional state, and walks to her room hoping to cheer her up when she wakes. He eventually falls asleep beside her, unknowingly hugging her in his sleep.
At the same time, Mamusa and Mamisa arrive at the temple and ask Panditji where Banni is staying. He informs them she is in one of the guest rooms. They rush there and are stunned to find Yuvan and Banni asleep together. Mamusa feels embarrassed, while Mamisa sees an opportunity; she quietly takes photos, planning to use them to insult Banni, damage her dignity, and secure permanent financial gain.
Precap: Banni wakes up, shocked to see Yuvan beside her, and slaps him. Mamisa circulates their photos throughout the city. Yuvan then takes a mic and loudly announces that he will never sleep beside Banni again.
