Elsewhere, Devraj speaks with Mamasa and Mamisa about arranging Yuvan and Banni’s marriage, insisting they must convince Banni within a day. Mamasa questions what this means for Banni’s future. Devraj assures them that he will support Banni’s catering business and help her expand it, promising she will find both dignity and affection in his home.
Back at the temple, Banni notices Yuvan appearing upset and asks why. Yuvan says a woman without sindoor signifies that her husband has died, so he fears he will also die if Banni does not apply sindoor again. Banni takes him before the deity and firmly asks him to promise never to talk about marriage again. Yuvan says his grandfather calls him handsome and claims his future wife will love him a lot. Banni pushes him to take an oath, but Yuvan adds that his grandfather also says he has a lot of money and is like a prince, so whoever marries him becomes a princess.
Banni tells him she does not want to be a princess; she wants to become the queen of her business, which has already suffered because of his family. Hearing this, Yuvan apologizes. She again urges him to promise her, saying it is important for her self-respect.
Meanwhile, Mamasa tells Devraj that their livelihood depends on Banni, and her marriage would make their situation difficult. Devraj gives them money and promises lifelong support, asking them only to persuade Banni to marry Yuvan.
At the temple, Banni continues insisting that Yuvan take an oath. Yuvan, touching the moon sticker gifted to him by his mother, swears on her that he will never bring up marriage again. Mamasa and Mamisa then assure Devraj they will get Banni married to Yuvan and ask where she is. Devraj informs them she is at the old temple in Devnagar, and they head there.
Elsewhere, Viraj threatens Vishnu, demanding he reveal Banni’s whereabouts, claiming she abducted Yuvan. Vishnu refuses to believe him and says she is likely busy delivering food. He takes Viraj to a customer who claims Banni did not come that day. After Viraj leaves, Vishnu hands the tiffin to the customer and thanks him for helping.
At the temple, Banni starts preparing meals so she can continue serving customers from there. Devraj calls, and she assures him that Yuvan is safe. Yuvan begins cutting vegetables to assist her, but Banni stops him. Yuvan insists he wants to help because her business suffered losses due to him.
While talking, Banni notices Yuvan reacting in pain when she touches his back. She removes his shirt and is shocked to see injuries. Yuvan reveals that Viraj tortured him when he asked to meet Banni. Worried, Banni applies medicine to his wounds. Yuvan tells her that although he promised not to mention marriage again, she must still come to him to apply medicine whenever Viraj hurts him.
Precap: Yuvan asks Banni the kind of husband she hopes for. She says she wants someone who understands her pain, respects her mother, values her feelings, supports her dreams, and loves her deeply. Yuvan says he is already like that and prays she finds someone similar to him but without his mental challenges. Later, Yuvan sleeps beside Banni to protect her as she rests. Mamasa and Mamisa enter the room and stand shocked.
