Katha speaks to her plants, wondering whether water and fire can ever exist together. She experiments but grows irritated when her attempts fail, concluding the two elements can never unite. She decides she will share her answer with Eshwar the following day.
By morning, Eshwar prepares to leave and compliments Mohan for his discipline. Naina offers him organic oil, which he happily accepts, saying such items are his weakness. He then asks for Katha, and she arrives moments later with an ice cube and the oil. She demonstrates that by using oil, water and fire can remain together. Eshwar is amazed by her creativity and dedication.
Katha later tells Naina about Eshwar’s challenge and how she found the solution. Eshwar, watching her, silently thanks God, convinced that Katha has the strength to transform UV’s life if she becomes his wife. Before leaving, he asks Vandana to tell Mohan to meet him soon, leaving the family uneasy.
At the Jindal house, the youngsters demand breakfast from Jhumki while Rukhmani scolds Nathu Lal to speed up. A small argument breaks out between Nathu and Jhumki in the kitchen. At the dining table, UV’s cousins try to guess what plans are being made for UV’s marriage. Pari brings up the topic, Harshvardan comments vaguely, and Shikha pretends innocence but says marriage would be good for him.
Suddenly, Eshwar calls Rukhmani to his room, causing teasing from the family. Rukhmani questions him about his injury, but he dismisses it and asks her to accompany him. He instructs Nathu to guard the door. Seeing this secrecy, UV and his cousins grow suspicious and leave to uncover the truth, ignoring Pratty’s calls. Ambika, meanwhile, fears that UV’s marriage could disrupt her hidden plans.
Inside the room, Eshwar happily tells Rukhmani that he has finally found the ideal girl for UV and genuinely likes her. Rukhmani worries, reminding him that UV never accepts his decisions. But Eshwar confidently states that UV has no other choice this time. Rukhmani prays for peace to return to their family.
Elsewhere, Katha hums a song while tending to her plants. Memories of her mother’s suffering and UV’s past actions flood her mind, and she writes in her diary that she can never trust any man again. At that moment, a rose falls onto her diary, leaving her puzzled.
Precap: Katha breaks down after overhearing Mohan and Vandana discussing Eshwar’s marriage proposal for her. Meanwhile, Eshwar tells UV that he will reopen his café only if he agrees to marry the girl he has chosen. UV is stunned.
