Durjan praises her clever approach. Ballu asks what they should do next. Inspector Pratap asks the crowd to step back. He tells Jagriti she is committing a crime by selling fruits there. Jagriti asks how it’s a crime. He warns that anyone who rebels will learn the same lesson as Jagriti.
Jagriti tells Durjan that she has decided to go to school. Durjan is confused and asks her to explain. She says that school is a place to gain education, and education gives strength to do what one wants. Bindi tries to take Jagriti away, but Durjan stops her and asks Jagriti to continue. Durjan also asks Bindi what education means. Jagriti admits she doesn’t fully know but says that her “Mama” taught her its meaning.
