Sonal asks Ved to speak with Aarti. Though reluctant, Ved agrees. During the phone call, Ved introduces himself and tells Aarti that he is her fiancé. Aarti, feeling awkward, admits that she has never spoken to a prospective groom before. She innocently asks Ved whether he has a girlfriend and continues chatting nonstop.
Irritated, Ved loses his patience and rudely tells Aarti to stop talking. Offended, Aarti snaps back at him. She reminds Ved that their marriage has already been fixed and sarcastically asks him to teach her what love actually means. Ved mocks her response and abruptly disconnects the call. Aarti, furious, thinks about how rude he is and wonders why Ganesh agreed to fix her marriage with someone like Ved.
Soon after, Aarti boards the train. She calls Padma to check whether Anjali has eaten. Padma says she knows Anjali never eats without Aarti and admits that despite trying, Anjali has not opened her mouth. Aarti asks Padma to bring the phone closer to Anjali. With folded hands, Aarti emotionally pleads with her mother to eat and reminds her that she dreams of becoming a successful reporter one day.

Hearing Aarti’s voice, Anjali signals Padma to feed her and finally opens her mouth. Padma happily feeds Anjali and informs Aarti, who then ends the call, relieved.
As the train moves forward, Aarti reflects on how her life will change after marriage and how this journey marks a new beginning. Unnoticed, a goon keeps a close watch on her. He calls Ved’s uncle and informs him that he has located Aarti. Ved’s uncle orders the man to follow her and kill her when he gets the opportunity. The goon agrees.
After reaching her destination, Aarti video-calls Padma. Padma asks if she arrived safely, and Aarti confirms it. She excitedly says that she is about to cover a major story and make a strong name for herself as a reporter. Meanwhile, Ganesh and Padma speak to Aarti while walking on the road, telling her they have stepped out for her wedding shopping.
Suddenly, a car almost hits Padma, causing her to drop her phone in shock. Abhay steps out of the car, followed by Sadhika and Mehek. Sadhika asks Padma how she is and remarks that they are meeting after 21 years. Padma replies briefly that she is fine. Hearing Aarti’s voice calling out on the phone, Abhay picks it up. Padma quickly takes the phone from him and disconnects the call, saying they will speak later.
As Padma prepares to leave, Stepney asks her to pick up the fallen shopping bags and tells Abhay to help, pointing out that the bags fell because of them.
Precap: Ved’s uncle calls Bhajan and informs him that his son’s wedding has been fixed. Bhajan congratulates him and asks who the bride is.
Later, Aarti excitedly narrates to her family how she covered a major story and rescued a girl named Kali, introducing her to everyone. Aarti asks Anjali if Kali can stay with them and requests her to blink if she agrees. Ganesh says Anjali will never blink, yet Anjali surprises everyone by blinking her eyes.
