Ved and Kali exchange garlands. While sitting in the mandap, Ved keeps looking only at Aarti.
Kali and Ved take the phere around the sacred fire. Aarti recalls the moments when she and Ved expressed their love for each other. During the rituals, Ved continues to look at Aarti.
The pandit asks Padma to bring sindoor. Padma says she will go and get it.
Padma comes to Anjali’s house and thinks that Ved is Aarti’s true love, so she cannot allow this marriage to happen. Padma decides to bring red powder instead of sindoor.
Padma gives the red powder to Ved, presenting it as sindoor. Ved applies the red powder to Kali’s hairline.
Aarti goes to Anjali and tells her that she has arranged Ved and Kali’s marriage. Aarti asks Anjali if she did the right thing. Anjali remains silent. Aarti leaves.
Aarti then runs into the Rajput family and Yuvraj. The Rajput family and Yuvraj are shocked to see Aarti and mistake her for Anjali.
Raghav says the girl looks like Anjali, but she is not Anjali. Yuvraj insists that she is Anjali and touches Aarti’s shoulder. Aarti asks Yuvraj who he is. Yuvraj tells her not to pretend and introduces himself as Yuvraj Thakur. Aarti recalls the threatening phone call Yuvraj made earlier and slaps him for his misbehaviour. Yuvraj raises his hand to hit Aarti, but Abhay stops him.

Abhay tells Raghav that this girl looks very young, not more than 25 years old, and asks her to tell them who she is. Aarti says she is someone who has lost everything. She introduces herself as Aarti Awasti and says her mother’s name is Anjali Awasti. The Rajput family is shocked.
Raghav realises that Aarti is his granddaughter and becomes emotional. Abhay supports him as he nearly loses balance. Aarti asks the Rajput family who they are and why they have come uninvited. Mehek arrives and explains that Raghav is Aman’s father, meaning Aarti’s grandfather. She introduces the rest of the Rajput family.
Aarti questions the Rajput family about why they came after so many years, only after she has lost everything. She asks why they never tried to meet her earlier. Aarti asks them her father’s name and where he is. Mehek reveals that her father’s name is Aman Singh Rajput. Yuvraj bluntly says that Aman died a long time ago.
Padma brings Anjali to the Rajput family. Mehek tries to approach Anjali, but Abhay stops her and says the Awasti family is dead to them. He tries to take Mehek away. Aarti demands to know how her father died. The Rajput family remains silent.
Precap: Yuvraj’s goons attack Anjali. Aarti rescues Anjali and questions the goons about who sent them. The goons reveal that the Rajput family sent them. Yuvraj watches from a distance and thinks that Aarti and the Rajput family will clash, giving him the chance to attack from behind.
