Manini tells Banni that she saved Yuvan only for his property and does not want Banni to claim fifty percent of it after Yuvan’s death. She says she wants all of Yuvan’s property, which is why she used Banni’s love and affection to cure him. Manini declares that she will now make Yuvan throw Banni out so that everything belongs to her. She also thinks she will make Devraj suffer the same pain she endured. Banni stands shocked. The doctor arrives and asks one of them to leave the room. Manini forces Banni to step out, leaving her helpless.

Yuvan returns home, and Banni prepares his bed. Myra asks Yuvan how he is feeling, and he smiles. Manini orders Banni to prepare food, saying that she herself will feed Yuvan. Banni goes to the kitchen, recalling Manini’s warning. Viraj comes there and asks Banni to look for a new rich customer. Banni throws a rolling pin at him and mocks him for blindly trusting Manini.
Later, Yuvan asks Manini why Banni said that she is not his mother. Banni overhears the conversation. Manini tells Yuvan that his real mother has returned from heaven, while Banni’s mother has not, which is why Banni is jealous. She even claims that Banni wants his mother to go back to heaven. Yuvan pleads with Manini not to go anywhere. Banni silently places the food and leaves the room. Manini holds Banni’s shoulder, and Yuvan asks Banni if she is jealous, as his mother said. He hugs Banni and asks her to think of his mother as her own. Banni signals him to smile and thinks that good people cannot be affected by evil. Manini feels disappointed, while Banni decides to handle Manini carefully.
The next day, Yuvan and Banni bring Bappa home. Yuvan informs Manini about it. Banni prays to Bappa to give strength to Yuvan. She takes Manini along to decorate Bappa and tells her that Bappa will expose the truth. Everyone dances happily.
Charmi wants to join the dance, but Viraj stops her. Charmi mocks Viraj by comparing him to Banni. Banni tells Manini that Yuvan’s heart is filled with love and that Yuvan belongs to her in every way. She challenges Manini, saying they will see who wins this war between a scheming stepmother and a dutiful wife. Banni adds that she will make Yuvan learn to differentiate between good and evil and teach his enemies a lesson.
Manini gets angry. Yuvan comes there with a red rose. Banni blows the divine conch. Manini signals Viraj, who performs aarti for Yuvan. Yuvan gets scared on seeing the fire, but Banni takes the aarti and encourages him not to be afraid. Vishnu invites Banni, Yuvan, and everyone to their Ganesh Ji celebration. Yuvan says everyone will come and invites Manini as well. Manini refuses, saying she has work, but tells Viraj to go instead. Viraj is surprised but agrees.
Yuvan, Banni, and Myra visit Ganesh Ji in the basti. Vishnu tells Banni that everything is ready for her to prepare laddoos. He explains to Yuvan that the offering will be made only after Banni prepares the laddoos. Banni says Yuvan will help with the decorations and asks Vishnu to guide him if needed. Myra also offers to help.
Later, Banni tells Devraj that she has thought of a way to free Yuvan from Manini’s influence. She asks if Yuvan has any dream he wants to fulfill wholeheartedly. Banni says Yuvan is currently living only to love his family. After thinking deeply, she tells Devraj that there is one thing Yuvan loves immensely, music. Devraj praises Banni for her insight.
precap: Banni sings Ganesh Ji songs on stage but suddenly starts coughing and cannot continue. Raja humiliates Banni for it. Yuvan takes the microphone and begins singing Ganesh Ji songs himself.
