Ritesh tells his advocate that Zoon does not deserve to live with the Rainas, as she has already suffered a lot. He wants to give her the life she deserves and asks the advocate to do whatever is necessary. The advocate assures Ritesh that he will help him get Zoon and adds that Indu kept Zoon illegally for five years, which will work in their favor. Rahul questions how Ritesh can adopt Zoon since he is unmarried. The advocate tells Ritesh not to worry and promises to handle the adoption legally.

Ritesh agrees and leaves with Rahul for Visarjan. At the Raina house, Rajendra chants “Ganapati Bappa Morya” in front of Zoon. When Zoon asks the meaning, Rajendra explains that he is praying for Lord Ganesh to visit their home again soon. Sunita arrives and asks Rajendra to join her for the puja. Rajendra suggests taking Zoon along, but Sunita refuses and leaves with him. Zoon feels sad and confused by Sunita’s behavior.
At the Malhotra mansion, the advocate tells Kaamna that he knows Ritesh cannot legally adopt Zoon. He admits he gave Ritesh false hope on her instructions and worries about the consequences if the truth comes out. Kaamna assures him of his payment and asks him to continue misleading Ritesh. The advocate leaves. Sameer questions Kaamna about her actions, saying he does not understand anything.
Kaamna explains that if Indu and Zoon are separated, Ritesh will want to adopt Zoon, which she does not want. She plans to make Zoon homeless by giving Ritesh false hope while pretending to support him. Sameer fears they may get caught, but Kaamna smirks and says Ritesh is blinded by his love for his Kaamna di.
At the Raina house, Indu tells Anjali and Asha that she and Zoon will stay back to clean the utensils and will not attend the Visarjan. Anjali and Asha question her decision. Indu recalls Ritesh’s vow and becomes anxious. She refuses to let Zoon go outside. Zoon pleads with her to attend the Visarjan. Vivek arrives and asks why they are still inside when the next ritual is about to begin. Anjali and Asha explain Indu’s decision.
Vivek says he will talk to Indu and asks Anjali and Asha to go ahead. Indu takes Zoon to the kitchen and asks her to help dry the utensils. Vivek pleads with Indu, promising to protect Zoon at all costs. Zoon also folds her hands and begs. Indu becomes emotional and finally agrees, asking Vivek to stay with Zoon at all times. Vivek assures her and leaves.
Vivek notices Zoon looking at the sketches and takes her to dance with everyone. Zoon dances happily with him. Meanwhile, officers from the Child Adoption Authority arrive at the society and ask for directions to Indu’s house. They enter without noticing Zoon. Indu answers the door and learns they are from the Child Adoption Authority Centre. She becomes shocked and recalls Ritesh’s vow.
The senior officer questions Indu about Zoon and says they received information that Zoon was not legally adopted. Indu remains silent and then lies about her identity. The officers insist on calling Indu and ask her to pack Zoon’s belongings, stating they have come to take her away. Indu overhears instructions for the police to wait outside. She pretends to cooperate, takes the officers inside a room, locks them in, locks the house, and leaves. The officers realize the truth and alert the police.
Indu searches for Zoon in the crowd and finally finds her. She picks her up and insists they leave immediately. Zoon says she wants to be part of the Visarjan, but Indu lies that they are going to Lonavala, a place Zoon loves. Unable to carry her for long, Indu puts Zoon down, and they lose each other’s hands in the crowd. Indu finds Zoon again but panics on seeing the officers on one side and the police on the other. She prays for help.
Zoon also prays, saying she cannot see Indu crying. Indu grabs a vermilion plate and throws it at the officers and police, then escapes with Zoon. Zoon suggests calling Ritesh, but Indu refuses, saying he must be busy. She boards an auto and asks the driver to take them to the bus station.
The Child Adoption Authority officer alerts the Mumbai police and informs Kaamna, who gets upset that her plan may fail. Due to traffic caused by the Visarjan, the auto driver stops and asks Indu to pay and walk, saying the bus station is nearby. Indu agrees but realizes she has neither her phone nor her purse and looks worried.
Precap: Indu walks toward the bus station with Zoon. Zoon spots Ritesh and calls out to him. Ritesh turns around, but Indu hides. Indu puts Zoon on a truck and leaves. Ritesh learns that Indu has run away with Zoon and says he knows where she has taken her.
