Indu and Zoon reach near the bus station. The auto driver asks Indu to get down due to the Visarjan traffic jam and demands his fare. Indu realizes she has neither her purse nor her phone, as she left in a hurry. The auto driver scolds Indu, upsetting Zoon. Zoon pleads with the driver not to scold her mother, saying Indu is a good woman and will surely return the money. The driver is surprised by Zoon’s courage and tells her that her stand for Indu is admirable.

Zoon says she gets affected when someone scolds her mother because she loves her deeply. The auto driver says anyone would melt seeing such love and allows them to leave without paying. Indu thanks him and walks away with Zoon. Nearby, Ritesh and the Malhotra men are present for Visarjan, and fans take pictures with him. Indu and Zoon walk past them. Zoon tells Indu she is thirsty. Indu notices a water barrel near the idol and takes her there. Ritesh asks Rahul about the boxes, and Rahul says they are on the tempo. Ritesh decides to carry them himself.
After giving Zoon water, Indu lifts her and starts walking away. Ritesh arrives at the same spot. Zoon spots Ritesh and calls out to him. Shocked, Indu quickly sits down to hide herself and Zoon. Zoon asks why they are hiding. Indu lies that they are in a hurry and promises to explain everything later. Ritesh searches for Zoon, but Rahul convinces him that he is overthinking and takes him away. Ritesh prays to God to keep Zoon safe from all harm.
Indu decides she must leave the city at any cost before anyone finds her. She worries about reaching Lonavala without money. A taxi driver offers to take her for two thousand rupees. Indu explains she has no money and pleads with him, but he scolds her and leaves. Indu prays for a way out. She sees an old man paying a tempo driver to go to Lonavala. Indu quietly boards the tempo with Zoon without the driver noticing. At the Raina house, Anjali, Asha, and Vivek search for Indu and Zoon. They panic after finding Indu’s phone at home.
Ritesh tells Jatin that he should suggest another solution besides marriage to adopt Zoon, as he enters the house with his men. Kaamna approaches him, pretending to be worried about Zoon. When Ritesh asks what happened, Kaamna says she informed the CAA as per his instructions. She adds that when the officers reached Indu’s house, Indu ran away with Zoon. Everyone is shocked.
Sunita and Rajendra learn that Indu and Zoon are missing. Sunita assumes they must have gone to the Malhotra house for Visarjan, but Rajendra scolds her and leaves with Vivek to search for them. Ritesh calls Indu irresponsible and decides to seek the Commissioner’s help. Sameer claims Indu kidnapped Zoon and mentions that the taxi stand connects to Lonavala and other cities. Ritesh recalls Indu’s earlier conversation with Zoon and realizes where she might have gone.
Inside the tempo, Indu narrates the rabbit and turtle race story to Zoon. Zoon says she thought the rabbit would win and compares it to someone who loses energy quickly. She then asks when they will return home. Indu says soon and thinks she will go to any extent to protect Zoon, regardless of right or wrong. Zoon says she is hungry, and Indu gives her a carrot. Anjali calls Vivaan, apologizes for disturbing him, and asks if Indu and Zoon are at his place.
Vivaan says no and explains that Indu fled with Zoon when CAA officers arrived. He adds that the police are searching for them and heading to Lonavala, as Ritesh suspects Indu went there. Anjali is shocked. Vivaan warns her that when Ritesh hates someone, he goes to any extent to destroy them. He offers to drop her home, but Anjali refuses and leaves.
The tempo suddenly stops. The driver discovers Indu and Zoon hiding inside and threatens to call the police unless she pays. Indu removes her earring and gives it to him instead. The driver accepts it and leaves.
The inspector informs Ritesh that they have reached Lonavala and will arrest Indu soon. Ritesh thanks the police. Anjali tells her family everything she learned from Vivaan, shocking them all. Zoon asks Indu when they will return home. Indu explains that some bad people are trying to separate them by saying Zoon is not her daughter, so they must stay away for a few days. Zoon says she will tell those people that Indu is her mother. Indu cries, kisses Zoon’s forehead, and silently vows to make everything right.
Precap: Indu returns and panics when she does not find Zoon where she left her. She spots a police vehicle and runs after it. She is devastated to see Zoon sitting between Ritesh and Rahul, while Ritesh smirks at her.
