Pihu reminds Ishani that she must go to college. Ishani says she does not want to make a mockery of herself by attending classes in her current condition. Pihu reassures her that nothing like that will happen. However, Shashwat firmly declares that Ishani will not go to college anymore. Pihu questions whether Shashwat is openly threatening Ishani in front of everyone and reminds him that the law and police exist to protect women.
Raj Didi scolds Pihu, asking which daughter speaks to her father in such a manner. Nandini remarks that Shashwat’s own daughter is standing against him, while Yash reprimands Pihu for threatening Shashwat over Ishani.
Ishani states that she can fight her battle even without Pihu’s support and announces that she will no longer tolerate injustice. Pihu urges Ishani not to break down because of others. Ishani declares that if anyone questions her injury, she will openly say that her husband slapped her. Shashwat is left shocked by her words. Ishani thanks Pihu, hugs her, and confidently announces that she will definitely go to college.
Later, Ishani reaches her classroom late and asks Anurag for permission to enter. Anurag allows her inside but warns her not to repeat it. He notices the bruise on Ishani’s cheek and recalls the party incident. Her classmates ask about the injury, but Ishani brushes it aside, saying she is fine. Anurag quietly asks if she has taken any medicine, but she insists she is okay.
After class, Anurag asks Ishani to come with him to collect notes since she arrived late. Outside the classroom, he suggests meeting in the cafeteria. Ishani hesitates, saying she cannot meet him there. Anurag insists that he needs to discuss something important. Ishani agrees but makes it clear that this will be the last time, as she cannot meet him there again. They head to the cafeteria.
At the cafeteria, Ishani firmly tells Anurag that whatever happened at the party should never be repeated. Anurag hands her painkillers and ointment, saying he feels responsible for what happened. Ishani tells him that he should not have taken a stand for her the previous night. Anurag replies that he cannot tolerate injustice, especially when it concerns her, and asks her to believe that he acted out of humanity.
Ishani questions why Anurag failed to support her when she needed him the most. She says she no longer needs his help and accuses him of abandoning her without explanation, only to return later and disrupt her life. She warns him not to interfere again. Anurag responds that he does not deserve such accusations. Ishani demands to know why he disappeared instead of talking to her, pointing out that he never even tried to learn the truth.
In a bitter tone, Anurag remarks that it must have been good for her that she escaped from him and ended up marrying a man who beats his wife. Ishani replies helplessly that she has neither money nor power, adding that she does not even have the courage to end her life. Anurag questions why she continued her studies if she felt that way.
Ishani asks him what he really wanted to talk about. Anurag says he only wanted to give her the medicines. He applies ointment to her injured hand. Ishani says she has become accustomed to enduring pain. Anurag advises her to apply the ointment to other injuries as well. Ishani thanks him for his concern, but Anurag clarifies that he is not showing concern, he is simply stating things. Ishani asks what right he has to do even that.
