Shashwat coldly tells Ishani that her truths are being exposed one by one and that he has begun to hate her. He insists he will uncover the real nature of her relationship with Anurag, adding that she must have several such stories, which is why her marriage never worked earlier. Hurt, Ishani questions why he even brought her into his house. Shashwat replies that he did it solely for Pihu’s sake.
Ishani reminds him how much Pihu has changed for the better after her arrival and subtly points out the growing closeness between Shashwat and Nandini. Enraged, Shashwat warns her to stay quiet and not cross limits. Ishani finally declares that she has tolerated enough humiliation and will not endure it anymore. Shashwat mockingly asks whether she believes Anurag will marry her, claiming that Anurag will use her and abandon her just like others.
When Ishani retorts that not everyone is like him, Shashwat loses control and slaps her. She tearfully asks why he married her when he knew he could never love her. Shashwat bluntly admits that he cannot love her and orders her to remain silent.
The next morning, Nandini questions Shashwat about the newspaper publishing news of their business deal. He casually admits that he shared the details himself. Yash comments that Nandini must be pleased with the success of the party, while Raj Didi shifts the discussion toward marriage preparations. Shashwat assures her that all arrangements are underway.
Later, Pihu goes to the kitchen and asks Ishani to make coffee. When Ishani avoids facing her, Pihu senses something is wrong and notices bruises on Ishani’s face and hands. Alarmed, she confronts her and rushes to the hall to inform everyone. Shashwat immediately tells Pihu not to interfere.
Nandini dismisses the matter, saying Ishani is an adult and can apply ointment herself. She questions why Pihu is meddling. Pihu sharply retorts that Nandini interferes far more in Shashwat’s affairs. Ishani enters with a tray, and Raj Didi asks how she got injured. Ishani responds that there is no point in explaining. Yash trivialises the injury and accuses Pihu of overreacting.
When pressed again, Ishani finally reveals that Shashwat physically assaulted her the previous night because Anurag announced her birthday at Nandini’s success party. A stunned Pihu directly asks Shashwat if he really slapped Ishani. Shashwat coldly claims it is a private matter between husband and wife.
Ishani challenges him, asking if he even understands what being a husband means. Raj Didi defends Shashwat, insisting he must have had a reason. Furious, Pihu tells Raj Didi to stay quiet and confronts Shashwat, saying he should be ashamed. Nandini claims she does not trust Ishani, adding that Shashwat does not look capable of hitting anyone.
Pihu firmly states that Nandini does not truly know Shashwat and urges Ishani to leave for college. Shashwat abruptly declares that Ishani will no longer attend college from that day onward.
