Shashwat interrupts, claiming everything has already been said. He casually mentions that Ishani has taken admission to Anurag’s college and questions how she is performing academically. Anurag asks him not to worry and insists on making his announcement. Curious guests encourage him to speak.
Placing the cake he brought on the table, Anurag congratulates Nandini on her business deal. He then reveals that Shashwat forgot that it is Ishani’s birthday. He explains that Pihu invited him specifically to celebrate Ishani’s birthday. A stunned Pihu immediately apologises to Ishani, admitting she believed the party was organised for her. She thanks Anurag for speaking up and asks Ishani to cut the cake.
Anurag gently urges Ishani to cut the cake. Shashwat, noticing the cake, compliments it and questions Anurag about how he knows Ishani’s birthday. Anurag repeats that Pihu invited him and expresses shock that no one else in the house knew about it.

Shashwat pressures Ishani, saying she should cut the cake since Anurag brought it specially for her. Yash accuses Ishani of creating drama, while Ankita blames her for ruining the success party. Nandini cruelly accuses Ishani of being jealous, claiming she can never become like her. Pihu stands up for Ishani, questioning Nandini’s words. Shashwat tries to silence the argument, but Pihu openly asks why Shashwat can celebrate Nandini yet cannot do the same for Ishani. Overwhelmed, Ishani asks Pihu to stop and walks away after stating she has already endured enough humiliation.
Later that night, a drunken Shashwat confronts Ishani in their room. He questions her about Anurag, accusing him of staring at her and speaking excessively at the party. Ishani calmly explains that Anurag is only her professor. Shashwat mocks her, claiming he knows Anurag celebrated her birthday at the college cafeteria and questions why anyone would celebrate someone as “insignificant” as her.
Deeply hurt, Ishani asks Shashwat to stop insulting her. She reminds him that he intended to humiliate her publicly but failed. She points out that his anger stems from being called out for forgetting his wife’s birthday. Shashwat angrily silences her, declares that he hates her, and vows to uncover the truth about Ishani’s relationship with Anurag.
