Ishani warns Nandini not to interfere in household matters, reminding her that she is just a guest. Nandini teases Shashwat, asking if he has also fallen into Ishani’s trap like Pihu did. She insists that Ishani hasn’t done anything significant by following Shashwat’s guidance regarding college matters. Shashwat reflects that Ishani helped him with Anurag’s case, and he cannot afford to upset her, or she might ruin his revenge plans. He tells the family firmly that Ishani is his wife. Yash remarks that he doesn’t want Ankita to face difficulties because of Ishani and goes inside. Ishani thinks about how she tolerated Shashwat and Raj Didi’s anger in the past but will not tolerate interference from outsiders. She glares at Nandini, asserting that everyone should know their boundaries, and then goes inside.
Later, Ankita arrives at the Sengupta house. Nandini teases Ankita and Yash. Ankita comments that it would have been nice if Nandini were her mother-in-law. Nandini offers to be Ankita’s mother figure and brings up Ishani’s closeness with Anurag. Ankita asks Yash what to make of this. Nandini remarks that Yash is too young to intervene. Yash asserts that he is not a child and knows how to protect his family’s reputation. Nandini adds that Ishani is even claiming her rights in the house now. Ankita asks Yash to take action. Yash, frustrated, yells at Ankita that he knows what to do. Ankita insists she is not Ishani and leaves. Yash mutters that he cannot tolerate Ishani in the house, and Nandini sympathizes with him.
Meanwhile, a police officer informs Shashwat that Anurag has been cleared by the college committee and resumed his duties from today. Shashwat is shocked and questions how the committee’s decision changed. The officer asks whether Shashwat is certain about Ishani’s statement, noting that no one can override her words. He advises Shashwat to speak with Ishani and understand why she altered her statement, suggesting that she may not have shared the full truth with him.
