Surjo tells Meenakshi that the police are investigating the case, so she need not worry. Noyontara asks Surjo to go and make sure Lata eats, and he agrees. Lata arrives, offering tea to Meenakshi, but Surjo tells her that Poulomi will take care of it and leads Meenakshi away to eat. Lata realizes that Noyontara does not want her to learn why Meenakshi came. Noyontara takes Meenakshi to Pratima’s room.

Meanwhile, Surjo warns Lata not to go downstairs as the police will arrive soon. He leaves. Lata confides in Shaoli’s spirit that she knows the spirit is helping her but worries that she cannot assist if Noyontara gives a statement against her. She resolves that she cannot afford to lose.
Noyontara expresses surprise that no one has recognized the fake Lalita yet. Pratima asks who Meenakshi is. Noyontara explains that she came to talk with Meenakshi, and Pratima assures them she will guard them before leaving. Noyontara tells Meenakshi that Surjo would never listen to anything against his mother. Meenakshi asks where the real Lalita is and whether she is alive.
Noyontara hesitates, then explains that Lalita is dead. Meenakshi insists she will report the truth to the police, but Noyontara warns that Lata is dangerous and capable of killing her own sister. Noyontara promises to protect Surjo and thwart Lata’s plans. Meenakshi blesses Noyontara, calling her Lalita’s shadow, and leaves.
Later, Surjo asks Noyontara why she came out of her room when she is not fully well. Pratima explains that she called Noyontara. Surjo hugs Noyontara, and both are shocked when Pratima insists he should hug her. Surjo hugs both Noyontara and Pratima before Pratima leaves. He advises Noyontara not to take the hug seriously.
The police arrive at Surjo’s house. Noyontara asks Hashiram for help to prove she can see ghosts, and he agrees. Surjo reassures her not to be nervous and not to talk about ghosts. Noyontara goes downstairs to meet the police inspector. He asks how she knew that poison was added to Surjo’s coffee and why she went to the hospital that day. Noyontara explains that she learned about the plot, which is why she went to the hospital. The inspector laughs and asks if she can see the future.
Mala clarifies that Noyontara can see ghosts, not the future. The inspector questions whether she is wasting time. Noyontara insists she can see ghosts and that they warned her about the danger. She reveals that Surjo’s coffee was poisoned and says she can prove it. She calls Hashiram to confirm that she is telling the truth.
Precap: Lata claims that Noyontara mixed poison in her coffee and drank it knowing Surjo would save her. Surjo says he trusts Noyontara.
